We had a lovely stay at the Arches b&b. Nikki is a really nice person. Everything was great.
Very friendly, cream tea on arrival, great breakfast
Breakfasts where amazing , freedom to come and go as you please, bed was very comfy and huge! Welcomed on our first day with Fresh warm cream tea!! Home-made scones where delish! Host very welcoming and lovely to chat too........will visit again .
Didn't realise until we where leaving that our friends had the wrong room (should have had 4 poster bed with more space but got much smaller double room ..........) that said we all had a fab time so overlooked it , no biggie at the end of the day
The bedroom was amazing we had the apartment at the top of the house, Preferred it to any premier inn any time . Lovely breakfast cooked to perfection. Thankyou Nikki
We were made to feel part of the family. Lots of choices for breakfast, which were exceptionally tasty. We were given ideas for our days out. Nothing was too much trouble.
A little tricky getting up the narrow stairway with a dog to the top room. Everywhere else was fine.
Five minutes walk from the Center of St Austell. The finest breakfast we had during two weeks. Quiet place. Nice and warm welcome.
Charming atmosphere, great hospitality, attention to details.
The hostess was very hospitable and friendly. Breakfast was wonderful. The room was nice decorated and cosy. Important - is the parking area.
An adorably beautiful, cosy and clean room, a very friendly host and an excellent English breakfast made our stay unforgettable!
The attic was really spacious and very clean and cosy. We liked to stay there and the Landlady was very friendly and interested. The location was very good to visit Eden project and also Lost gardens of Haligan. More than recommendable. It was easy to reach without a car and we really enjoyed the stay and the breakfast as well.
The owner was lovely, made us feel very welcome. Breakfast was delicious, plenty of choice & freshly cooked. Would definitely stay here again.
Very welcoming owner, Nikki Great breakfasts Large, clean, comfortable room Good-sized fridge Easy walk to town
Although there is parking, the access in/out from the main road was difficult at times
Staff were really friendly. Breakfast was really good. Brilliant location to use as a base to get to most places in Cornwall. Would certainly come again.
A nice B&B in the outskirts of St Austell, within walking distance to the town center. The rooms were spacious and cosy. There is a small patio on the front side where we were offered tea on arrival.
Everything was great
Nicki was a brilliant host, on arrival, we were offered a cream tea, with homemade scones and jam. Fantastic breakfast, great choice, on offer. Would highly recommend.
Traffic noise, but then we live in a very quiet location, so not used to cars going by so frequently, during the evening.
Friendly and close to the town
Overall a very good place to stay with a verynice host
Nicky and Kendra (dog) are so welcoming nothing is to much trouble, after the long drive the cream tea was most welcome. Our room was lovely clean and tidy the bed was very comfortable which meant a lovely nights sleep. The Arches to about 20 min walk in to St Austell. We will certainly go back and recommend to our family and friends
Nikki was an excellent host. We were welcomed with a cup of tea and cake on arrival which was lovely. Very friendly, the breakfast was great and a very comfortable bed. We also had a fridge in our room. A very homely B & B.
Parking was a little bit difficult when we got there but once Nikki pointed out where it was it was okay, a bit hard to get out onto the road though.
We hung around some time in afternoon before we finally woke the owner , she was rude and lazy no cream tea as promised also not explained about breakfast and we spoke for some time. so we went down in morning and she was so very rude to us for not ordering and raised her voice also shouting up to us that we left a slice of toast in toaster we couldnt believe it or the other couple it was only us and one other couple staying there I felt very unwelcome also shower did t work and there was a tv but no ariel awful place ...
a very warm welcome. great breakfast. Great room. And a very dear Nikki. The best B&B ever. Greetings to Nikki and Kendra!
