Such a quirky and homely place to have as a base for my needs.. Nikki was very welcoming and the breakfast was just spot on for my needs. The room was very comfortable and also very quirky with lovely furniture (antique). For the price I literally can't fault it...warm and comfy. Added bonus...at least for me... Merlin...the German Shepherd.... probably the Least...no .. infact..the least aggressive German shepherd ever...he is adorable and very much a part of the arches b&b Would definitely recommend staying here.

Originally part of a Victorian boys’ school, Arches B&B offers guests a welcoming cup of tea or coffee and free parking at a nearby location. A selection of restaurants, shops, a cinema and bowling alley can be found in St Austell town center, which is a 10-minute walk away from this dog-friendly accommodations. Free WiFi is provided in each room at Arches bed and breakfast, as well as a TV and tea/coffee making facilities. Silent mini fridges are also included to keep your drinks and snacks cool. A homemade full English breakfast is served in the dining room, as well a choice of cereals and freshly ground coffee. For evening meals, discount vouchers can be provided for some local restaurants. Guests can also relax on the patio. The Lost Gardens of Heligan are a 15-minute drive away and feature areas of different character and styles, having been created over a period from the mid-18th century up to the early 20th century. St Austell Brewery is a 15-minute walk and offers tours and an interactive museum. The accommodations is a Victorian House with steep stairs and has no ground floor rooms, therefore not suitable for people with mobility issues.
