Beautiful decor, excellent service and amazing food! It's on the banks of Loch Awe and nestled in the countryside. I would whole-heartedly recommend it for a bit of luxury.

Quiet location that had deer running around during the evening Room clean and comfortable Staff friendly .

Quiet location is 10 miles on a single track road with passing points rough and lots of bends some blind . The food is very good breakfast is £33.00 per couple and dinner is a fixed menu 5 course at 50.00 per head drinks extra example a bottle of merlot £46.00 The hotel should have a wallet warning.

Fantastic hotel, very comfortable, luxurious and very friendly staff.

Food choices- the only choice for dinner is a 5 course menu which is very pricey Managed to reduce this to 2 courses but food portions were very small and still very pricey.

Only one option for the evening meal in such a remote location is quite ridiculous.

All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful at any time of day. The grounds were beautiful and we were able to relax and take long walks without leaving the premises. Our dog was made to feel very welcome. We loved our room as it was just that extra bit special even though it was a standard room. Felt the hotel was comfortable and welcoming.

A very small thing but we visited the hotel on the 15th December and there were no decorations up which is one of the things we like about going to a hotel for a pre Xmas break. However when we mentioned it to the receptionist she explained that they put the tree up just a week before Christmas so we were a little early. This did not spoil our stay by any means but was just a little disappointing.

Excellent!! Although the access is not easy, the rest of the hotel is fantastic, as well as the staff attention. Absolutely recommendable!!

Utterly stunning location - totally breathtaking scenery and stunning accommodation. Staff were wonderfully accommodating and we are a very well traveled couple - and put this at the very top of our list of favouriite places we have stayed out (including overseas!) Highly recommend taking a boat out into the Loch and exploring the Islands - there are a couple of 'hidden' gems - ruined castles - to find.

Hotel di charme e adatto esclusivamente a persone alla ricerca della pace e solitudine in un ambiente immerso nella natura o alle coppie per una max due notti romantiche. Nei dintorni il nulla e ci si arriva dopo una quindicina di kilometri dalla strada principale percorrendo una stradina (asfaltata) larga quanto l'auto. La struttura ha il suo fascino vittoriano con arredi di effetto. La cucina annovera uno chef rinomato in zona ma I prezzi sono fuori di testa e per I ns. Palati latini abbiamo difficolta' ad apprezzare (in ogni caso non e' possibile adottare altre soluzioni perche' altri punti ristoro sono a non meno di 25/30 km)

Troppo isolato e troppo caro

Lo único que merece la pena de este hotel es la ubicación. Esta en un sitio muy bonito.

El servicio del personal es muy malo, tienes que subirte las maletas. El personal de los restaurantes muy malo también. La comida por la que te cobran 50 libras por persona es un timo, no es ni de buena calidad ni la cantidad merece ese precio. El desayuno por el que pagas 16`50 libras tampoco corresponde a ese precio. Abusan de que no puedes salir de alli(la carretera no es como para estar yendo y viniendo)para cobrarte esos precios. Si hubiera sitios cercanos el hotel dejaría de tener comensales. La ducha no existia, pues aunque sí tenía el flexor no se podia utilizar, el agua caliente no salía cuando intentabas levantarlo. Es un hotel que pretende ser de lujo, cuando ni el servicio, ni las instalaciones ni las condiciones de atención del personal corresponden a esa categoría.

Sehr schöne Lage, sehr ruhig, schöner Blick, Wir hatten das Rose Cottache gemietet mit zwei Schlafzimmern, Wohnzimmer mit eigenem offenen Kamin, gute Küche mit Spülm. Baad mit Waschmaschine. Gut war auch eine eignen Heizung.

Simplement parfait... S'il existe un endroit merveilleux où séjourner (et se restaurer) en Ecosse (voire en Europe), c'est assurément là. Je suis déjà occupé à prévoir ma prochaine visite, plus longue.

The setting and the hotel were stunning. The food was gourment and the entire staff was friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious and well-appointed. The bathroom was thoroughly modern but did not detract from the charm of the hotel.

Only the fireplace in the lobby had a fire. To make it cozy for your guests, the fireplaces should be lit in every room.

Wunderschöne Aussicht, sehr friedliche Stimmung mit traumhafter Kulisse, hervorragendes "sternwürdiges" Essen, das mit frischen Zutaten,fast alles aus eigenem Anbau, zubereitet wird. Die Zimmer mit Seeblick definitiv sehr viel schöner, aber auch deutlich teurer.

Die günstigeren, aber auch nicht billigen Zimmer, sind teilweise dunkel und ungemütlich.

La position géographique. La vue. L'entretien du parc. L'amabilité du service. Un bon souvenir d'une nuit au milieu de nulle part.

Gorg house, beautiful inside, lovely surroundings , quite remote which I liked well worth a visit

Didnt like the gourmet dinner nothing wrong with it ..it was just not my style of food
