It was only a 10 minute walk from the airport, train station and NEC, so handy!

No shops or resturants nearby

The hotel was friendly and comfortable. The staff were always helpful. Breakfast plentiful and good selection. Ideally located for the NEC.

Excellent staff, polite and helpful

Decor in rooms a little dated, bed linen a could best be described as tired. A revamp would make this a must stay, and would compete more favourably with competitors. Pricing on the border of being a little to expensive for standard of hotel & facilities at this moment

Polite and efficient

Cobwebs, dirty bed cover, broken extractor fan which made bathroom and bedroom wet and humid. Poor bedding and lack of electric sockets close to bedside tables.

The only thing I liked was the fact it was reasonably close to the concert, although misleading directions and time it takes, not easy to walk..

Very unhelpful staff, staff in the bar very immature and rude, belching loud and acting very childish, reception staff a total disappointment, I rang them saying we were lost and didn't know what way to walk, I asked if they could call me a taxi to pick myself and my daughter up, gave them my location and they said no you will have to keep on walking to hail one down! At 11 at night! Thankyou very much

The food we had was excellent and great value for money.

The cost of the drinks at the bar were very expensive.

Brakfast and bar facilities are ok. Reasonable food.

Staff speaks heavily accented English, if you call them it is difficult to understand, they are not very interested in their guests. Weak wifi. Worn out hotel, very uncomfortable beds.No sound proof rooms, lots of noice from all directions.

When I went into my room and turned light on there was already someone sleeping in the room.

Problems with first room took 1.5 hours to sort out replacement room, took 1 visit to reception and 2 calls before it was sorted

Excellent buffet breakfast,lashing of hot water for baths/showers . Swimming pool .

Price of Taxi=£5 to go nec but £9-40 return. Bath- Shower Gel,only one sample between two, very drying not good quality.I Know its nitpicking- but only one spoon and one chair

No breakfast included in price.Night service porter rude.could not get a sandwich after 11pm as it was only a 3 star hotel.

Bathroom was untidy and stained. Post code on room key appeared to relate to a different hotel ( Forest of Arden ) which meant a longer and more expensive taxi ride back post concert. On pointing this out the next morning was told the staff were already aware of it which begs the question why not do something about it ?

I felt the breakfast could be better presented. For example I asked for a pot of tea on each morning and both pots leaked and were cheap stainless steel designs. The cereals were in boxes rather than open display. Please accept these as minor complaints and would not prevent me from recommending the Arden hotel

Staff were friendly

Taxi drivers wouldn't take us to hotel from station as it was too close and not a big enough fare. Room was grubby and toiletries sparse. Blanket over bed was smelly and had clearly not been washed for some time.

location for the LG Arena was perfect. Bar food and service was great and wished we had stayed longer so could have eaten in the restaurant as the menu looked lovely.

The shower in our room.Although it looked good and was clean the water pressure was that of a watering can.

Room v clean, tidy and comfortable. Good breakfast helpful staff in the morning. Ideal for the NEC and very little traffic noise despite location.

Position of the room we were in - right above reception and although no sound from people music played all-night. Night staff not as friendly.
