Really nice place, big Marriott/Hilton level room (or better), very friendly staff and excellent freshly made breakfast. Conveniently located at 15/20 min from Edinburgh in a quiet lovely countryside.

Nothing. Just keep in mind this is not in Edinburgh, but it is a short drive to the airport and the P+R, probably the best way to get into the city.

Breakfast is so enjoyable with great gluten free choices if you need them. We were attending the Commonwealth Games and really enjoyed retreating to the country.

This was the most beautiful of all the B&B's we stayed at during our recent holiday in the UK. Our host was very welcoming and so helpful with directions for our onward travel to Edinburgh Airport (our only regret was that we could not stay for breakfast as we were on an early morning flight).

Everything. This place is pure class. The rooms are spacious and tastefully furnished. The location is superb and the food awesome. Beth fully deserves the awards she has won already. A truly great place to stay. Arden House puts many hotels to shame.

What an absolute gem of a place. I've stayed in budget hotels that cost not much less, but here you are literally treated to genuine 5 star hospitality. Apart from the fact that the decor is fresh and clean, furnishings are top quality, and the house is set amid stunningly beautiful countryside, the owners, John and Beth, go that extra mile to ensure your stay is memorable for all the right reasons.

Huge and tasty breakfasts… diet starts tomorrow. Again. ;)

Very good breakfast. Very quiet location.

Duvet was too hot for early summer so would prefer option of sheets or cooler bedding. A teapot to brew tea in would be nicer than tea bag in a cup.

I liked the friendliness of the family. The bedrooms had the wow factor, were very comfortable & warm. The setting was lovely & quiet with lots of good eateries nearby to choose from alongside other interesting places to visit.

We found out we could have stayed at the B&B cheaper if we had booked direct with them & had afternoon tea included, therefore it would have cost us £92 instead of the £108 we paid including the extra breakfast. So I felt that your company stating prices are cheaper is not a true representative of what you are saying is on offer as you are suggesting the prices are cheaper if booked through yourselves.

We had a lovely ground floor room which had a very nice and tasteful décor and so very comfortable. Everything in the room and en-suite was so thoughtfully presented. Just wish we could have stayed longer. The breakfast was excellent with a good and varied choice of local and home made food. Again, there were many little touches that made the whole experience special. The house is beautifully kept and set in a lovely location. We were looked after very well and we would recommend staying here. We hope to return.

There was nothing we did not like.
