We stayed in the family room which was clean, tidy and very comfortable. The owners were friendly and very helpful. We enjoyed the continental breakfast provided. The Guest House itself is close to the train station and the town centre, so really convenient.
There's nothing not to like.
Lovely old home in the centre of Stratford no need to take cabs or buses - 5 minutes walk to everything.
friendly owner.Comfortable and clean rooms. Sound proofed against traffic noise. Good value and car park space made available. Just out of town centre but easily within walking distance
excellent accommodation,Mark isa genial host and nothing was too much trouble, excellent breakfasts.Closeness to the town was good only being about 200 meters walk and every where else nearbyhighly recommended
Great location, easy access, Loved that car parking was easily available at a great offer Knowledgeable hosts who were helpful
It was all good. The basement room wouldn't work for anyone who was super-tall, and you wouldn't like it if you were claustrophobic. However we found it cosy and comfortable
Mark was friendly and helpful from the minute we got there. We were allowed to leave our luggage and go off in to town even though it was before check in time. We were shown everything and all questions were answered. The room was superb, clean , tidy and everything we required. Breakfast was great and at a time that suited us
Excellent staff, friendly owner, lovely room and great breakfast. I will be back!
Size of the room, breakfast not included, welcome by host wasn't the best we've ever had.
Location-handy to railway station, all Shakespeare sights and town centre. Good continental breakfast.
Room overlooked a busy road but if the window was closed for quiet the room was too hot and stuffy. The fan provided did not replace fresh air overnight
Very friendly atmosphere, good with the kids, the bed was super comfy !
friendly professional, considerate owners. The rules that some people object to are precise and needed to protect the standards that one would expect. its obvious the owners have had bad experiences.
I do wish that a full English breakfast was on offer, the layout and facilities for eating were excellent.
Comfy and close to the city and great price
If wanted you had to pay extra for breakfast then only a cold continental offered , Felt the owner was a little like my old school head master
Really nice rooms - clean and comfortable and modern.
No cooked breakfast.
Did not like basement room. Felt vulnerable. Breakfast poor. Eggs not fresh so was reluctant to eat cold meat. Shower area very small & shower curtain not fixed properly on all rings.
REally friendly host, it was a great location close to absolutely everything. Nice and peaceful in the evenings and a great breakfast in the morning. Would recommend to anyone
Only a short walk from town center, tasteful Asian decorations, comfortable beds, good WiFi.
Modest breakfast portions, abrupt manner of owner.
The location was the key selling point, and the owners were very accommodating about the late check-in and leaving luggage in the property until our train left that evening. Friendly owners who made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed.
We stayed in the basement room which had a few spiders and cobwebs in the corners (but the cleanliness was good otherwise). The toilet was a pump flush and made a lot of noise, it did not usually flush the first time and needed a few extra pumps to clear it. Hard if you don't have the time to keep coming back and flushing again! Batteries in the TV remote needed changing I think, quite difficult to get the TV to change channels!
The owner was incredibly nice, and drove us with out bags to the train station when it was time for us to leave. The rooms were quite comfortable and cutely decorated, the breakfast was good and reasonably priced, and the location was perfect. Nice place to stay for such a great value, I would highly recommend it!
Good location, value for money.
Would have like it, if water faucet has a mixer. Sink has separate hot and cold taps.
The central situation is wonderfully convenient - between the railway station and the town.
Breakfast was very lack luster .
The guesthouse was very well located, an easy walk to town and the RSC. There was reasonably priced parking just over the road. The owner was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. It was quiet and reasonably priced (compared to lots of others we checked).
The room, right at the top of the house, had a very low sloping ceiling on one side. To get to the bathroom it was necessary to walk around the end of the bed, ducking under the low part of the ceiling - lots of bashed shoulders and heads as we tried to navigate the space.
Decent value for money but others are better.
Breakfast only served 0830 to 0930. Parking more of an issue than nearby parts of Stratford.
Everything was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Staff were helpful and pleasant.
