John was very hospitable and a pleasure to meet. And the fact that he stocked the fridge and pantry before we got there was a very pleasant surprise!

Lossiemouth is a delightful seaside town with two beautiful white sandy beaches. Lots of room and never over run. A delight to have a peaceful walk or a dip in the ocean. The water in September we found positively balmy. There is a sports centre and swimming pool and some really nice restaurants and hotels.

Such a beautiful place.
Such a beautiful place. Highly recommend the salt cellar for a meal. The boat trip onto the moray firth dolphin spotting wow to be up close to these magnificent creatures in their natural habitat was simply mindblowing. The beach is stunning and a lovely place for a stroll watching surfers and an array of wildlife you really could lose yourself for a few hours here it is so tranquil.

It is a lovely Scottish Town overlooking the Moray Firth.
It is a lovely Scottish Town overlooking the Moray Firth. It is well placed for travelling to places of interest. RAF Lossiemouth is set away from the town, but it is exciting to see some of the Typhoons doing manoeuvres over the sea. There are a couple of good restaurants, but they are small and are not open late. It has a very good golf course, which is very popular and it holds important tournaments.

Lossiemouth has a beautiful beach, and everything you need in the town centre. There are plenty of takeaways and bars in the town. And local supermarkets. Lossiemouth is in a good location for visiting other areas.

We visited at the end of May and honestly expected it to be busier (happy that it was not) I think it is one of those places that many people have yet to discover. It is worth the trip. There are just enough facilities, food outlets, pubs, shopping, etc to keep you going. The beaches are lovely, kept clean (we saw the local Brownies / Guides doing a rubbish collecting service on the beach one evening - which I thought shows that the locals take pride in the area - even though people should be more respectful and take their rubbish home) The golf club and course is excellent too. And the ice cream - well - get me some more!!
We had a fantastic time in this lovely caravan, it has everything you need. The TV in the bedroom was a great feature. The 2 decking areas were amazing, especially as the weather was hot during our stay. The view of the lighthouse is beautiful, especially when it's lit up at night. The caravan is situated very close to the path down to the beach and also to the restaurant/bar/shop/park area. Our 6 year old daughter and dog loved the beach, it certainly tired them out every day! The chippy onsite was really nice.
I have stayed at this hotel on about 5 occasions. The location of the hotel is very good with fabulous views across the Moray Firth. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are very comfortable and have tea and coffee making facilities. On this occasion, I didn't have the evening meal, but the breakfast is very good and suits me very much with what i like to eat on a morning. This hotel is extremely good and is well placed near the golf course in Lossiemouth.
The room was very comfy and beautifully appointed with a bonus of a fabulous view of the coast and binoculars to enjoy it even more. A generous bowl of fresh fruit salad for breakfast with cappuccino and lots more to choose was taken in in a spacious room with a large bay window affording more fantastic coastal views. Friendly, attentive hosts who were very helpful and told me about the history of their house, one of the oldest in the area.
We loved our stay at Lossiemouth House, our hosts Alison &Hugh were very welcoming and friendly with great communication,
We were delighted to be given a spacious bright room with a newly renovated bathroom with walk in shower and lovely toiletries..
we had a great sleep in the king-size bed..
Breakfast was lovely with good local produce and lots of choice.
Such an interesting old building with lots of history and character..
Lovely dog friendly caravan. Very Clean. Great size. Close to beach. Can walk along beach to Lossiemouth for lunch and dinner. Great location for visiting other villages along Moray coast. Saw dolphins from the silver Sands beach. Site has a shop, gym, bar, club house and pool. Used the shop but cannot comment on the rest as was out and about every day as weather was brilliant.
Spent Christmas weekend with family in this lovely place. It has everything we needed - fridge, air fryer, pans… the fireplace is a winter highlight, completing our Christmas mood🎄 The Lighthouse in full view is excellent. Supermarkets and dining places are nearby too. We’ll keep this place in mind when back in the area! Thanks too for excellent comms with the host😊
I was absolutely delighted with the standard of accommodation at Cliffside as it was very comfortable, really well equipped and spotlessly clean. It was an ideal base to explore the local area and direct access to the beach was fabulous. The owners were very welcoming and helpful with recommendations for activities and restaurants.
Fabulous location about as near to the edge of the sea as you could get and with absolutely stunning views across Spey Bay. Surprisingly spacious apartment, which is extremely well equipped, and the under-cover parking area is a real bonus.
Excellent family size room with views across the golf course to the sea.
Extra personal items included in the room/ensuite to make your stay more enjoyable. These you wouldn't get in a hotel.
Excellent breakfast very well presented.
It is like a hotel without the restaurant or bar. Communication was excellent and kind. Rooms were lovely and beds really comfortable. Location was superb with beautiful views over the Moray Firth.
Dinner was amazing, I had a delicious steak and my pudding loving husband had the best pudding he has ever had!!. Room was just what we needed. Breakfast was great. Lovely staff, lovely hotel.
The property was very well looked after and in a brilliant location 2 min walk from the lighthouse and beach but also not far in the car from the like of the other beach and main Lossiemouth
The house was spotlessly clean, a true dig friendly holiday with lots of added extras for dogs and humans. The host Tracy was so friendly, we will definitely use again when next in the area
I loved staying at firth hotel! The room is so comfortable and it is nice to wake up with the sea view. The staff was very kind and helpful. I recommend it!
