You can also enjoy your meal in the relaxed and friendly atmosphere of the newly refurbished lounge bar. Fully licensed, the bar offers a fine selection of beers, wines, spirits and cocktails, as well as traditional Scottish ales and Whiskies.

The staff were fantastic, very friendly and so helpful. The location was great too, close to the train station but not so close to the city centre that it was too busy and noisy |

Everything was provided, you did not have to ask for anything. It took long time to get hot water in shower. |

Friendly family run guest house. There was a local pub as part of the hotel which gave it a friendly atmosphere. We had a shared bathroom but if you are only there to sleep it doesn't matter. |

Location was good The room was cold, the water just as cold - god forbid you try to take a shower! The staff were not very helpful and in some instances downright rude! I had a double bed for my single occupency, thank god because you really needed all 4 pillows talk about wafer thin! |

Great staff & excellent breakfast. Only 20min walk to Princess St. Was more like a bed & breakfast than a hotel but was perfest for a short stay. |

Had a very enjoyable stay. Made to feel very welcome and staff were very helpful. Only 10 minutes from the city on the bus and 15 minute walk to Haymarket station. |

the freindly and helpfull staff.. also the bar had a good atmosphere amd meals were excellent value. did not have my reservation when I arrived,, [ booking.com fault] rooms were a bit over priced but it is August and the festival and tattoo on .. |

The staff were very helpful and the pub was a great place to spend the evening. The room was recently renovated and had everything we needed. Not really but I would recommend taking the bus into the city centre |

We loved the hotel. It is very quaint, what I think of when I think of a typical Scottish B&B. It also is very modern in amenities. We were just there for a couple of days, and mostly out during the day, but found the nights very quiet and the breakfasts were great. |

Was very close by to where I needed to be within walking distance. The fact that the room was very well kept and clean, as well as the shared bathroom. |
