This grand hotel has a great location in the heart of Inverness, yet in a quiet area with splendid views of the River Ness and Inverness Castle.
Score from 578 reviews Good
Location, breakfest, cleanliness, all great and a good nights sleep.
Spacious room and free wifi.
Uncomfortable mattress and tiny little TV.
Location & hostess
Tired & dated.
The b&b very clean the rooms were very spacious and staff very nice and helpful. Would stay there again.
Proximity to city centre. Plenty of restaurants and pubs close by. Easy street parking. Close to sightseeing highlights. Good breakfast and helpful staff. Good wifi.
Noise through wall from neighbouring room.
Quiet and comfortable room, not spacious but large enough for three. Really good substantial breakfast.
Car park is either far away or expensive meter parking.
Room was super clean, loved the tea/coffee facilities and the biscuits... Members of staff very helpful and kind... Literally one minute walk from the centre.
Everything was just perfect! Excellent B&B.
walking distance to many things
bed was lumpy, bring your own shampoo.
Proximity to Inverness City Centre; room was not cramped with enough room for 3; no frills but for the price paid good value.
Shower room was a bit too small and door handle had a tendency to stick.
Location excellent, ideal for getting into the city centre, only a short walk.
Couldn't get an en-suite so had a shared bathroom which consisted of a toilet and a shower, no sink to wash your hands - awful. Unpleasant smell in room - damp or something, couldn't figure out if it was coming from the corner sink stuck in the room or not?
It was very clean, the staff were lovely, the breakfast was great. Located in a great place, short walk over the bridge to town centre. There was road side parking which was free until 10am, but this may be only at weekends so I'd check this.
-location was perfect -food was good -staff very obliging
A room for a single, without having to pay the double price. A jug to make a cup of tea, tea and biscuits in my room.I found it was a quiet hotel 15 minutes walk from the railway station and bus station. It was comfortable place for 6 nights in Inverness and sightseeing round the highlands .
An excellent guest house
there was nowhere to put anything in the bathroom although there was room for a unit.
very friendly welcome, all of the accommodation was excellent, will definitely go back
The location was only a walk over the bridge to the town centre. The choice of breakfast was very good, the staff were very welcoming. The room facilities were very good.
Location, comfort, helpful staff and breakfast!
Large clean family room and ensuite. Very helpful and friendly staff.
Inverness, and the closeness to everything.
Perhaps a bit more maintenance.
Clean basic room, comfy and central
One sausage and one slice of bacon for breakfast. Wouldn't pay for breakfast again
3 comfy beds and plenty of clean towels in an ok size room for 2 adults and 2 children ( great for each child to have a proper bed) would be my positives. Oh and very friendly and helpful staff.
Ensuite facilities tiny for 4 people and only a small shower no bath. Put in room 14 which was opposite reception and right next to front door, very noisy, lots of coming and goings and night and early mornings, not good for young children needing to sleep.
