I found the guesthouse very convenient for all parts of Inverness, the shops, rail and bus station. Also the staff were good and I received lots of help with my luggage etc., which I need now.I do not know if I will ever be in Inverness ahgain but if so I would hope to stay again.

Spacious, clean (bath)room, very good breakfast, friendly staff, free wifi, good location (not the best, but since Inverness is not that big, we have done everything on foot). Definitely a recommendation! Nothing negative to report!

Very close to the city centre.Staff were helpful and pleasant, the entire place was spotlessly clean.Breakfast portions were good, decor was rather old fashioned but most independent guest houses are so this was no real issue, good supplies of towels, tea and coffee, biscuits and shower gel was a nice touch, excellent value for money. Because everything is cooked fresh to order I can see the reason behind asking for your breakfast choice and serving time the previous night but after just having had an evening meal what I want for breakfast is not a top priority for me. Showers water pressure could be more powerful,a lot of water was used to rinse shampoo, conditioner, soap etc as the water pressure was so poor we were in the shower double the time than normal. The guest house is housed over two houses linked,we didn't know this and went to the door with hotel signage above, the lady who eventually answered the door was rather irritated that we had gone to the 'wrong' door and advise us that we should have used the other door? How were we to know as number 18 looked like a private residency, maybe move the signage to number 18 to save any confusion and irritation.

Great value. No frills. Staff very helpful. Located right off main road from the south and within walking distance of train station. We walked up to Castle Tavern for dinner. I sampled 3 ales for price of one. Room was small, compact but comfortable. Parking might be a problem but we parked free in front of hotel as we were there Sat eve and Sunday morning.

This place was amazing. The rooms are new, big, bright, very clean, and the beds are really comfy. Breakfast was perfect as well, as we could have a full Scottish breakfast. Margaret is a wonderful host, very friendly and willing to help. Also, the location was great - only a few minutes' walk from the city centre. A perfect spot in Inverness, and excellent value.

Ardross Glencairn was perfectly located in the city of Inverness. It was very easy to find, was comfortable, and served a wonderful breakfast -- great value for the money. They have some on-site parking, and fortunately they were able to accommodate our car. I would definitely stay again.

The receptionist was fantastic. The room was what I expected for such a good price, clean and all I needed. In fact I would of stayed more nights but they were fully booked. No sound proofing and they were very busy on reception right next to my room Number 31. Also the kettles lead was to short so you have to use the floor to boil it. Plus why have such a large kettle a mistake so many places make and you can't fit it under the tap.

Bedroom was directly above a ventilation motor which was as loud as a washing machine on spin cycle and was only turned off after ringing reception and asking the manager to do something about it. Started again at approximately 6am and didn't stop which seems like it must have been the kitchen ventilation, very annoying!!
