The Argyll was excellent value for money, the standard of the room we had was far higher than we expected. We were in Glasgow for only one night and the location was at time of booking more important. Anytime we stay in Glasgow in the future we'll stay at the Argyll. |

It was in a very central location and staff were very nice. The room was clean and we were happy with what we were provided with. The bathrooms could do with getting done up, the shower was a tickle. The food (cooked breakfast) was not very good. |

The room we booked was ideal for our stay as it was the only hotel we could find with a room fro 5 persons. The breakfast wasn't great they had cereal toast and the usual fry, the quality of the fry was very poor, the eggs tasted like they were powered eggs and the potato bread was like cardboard. The hotel bar was a big let down, very little to choose from and closes at 9 o'clock. |

My husband and I stayed at this hotel because we were going to watch a band at the abc, we arrived before the 14.00 stated check in time but the receptionist was happy to take our bags for us, we went shopping which was about a 10-15 min walk into the city centre, very easy to find (there are maps available at reception). Following our shopping trip we returned to the hotel via taxi which cost around £5. Our room was very small but clean and it had all we needed for a night's stay. We went for a meal at the restaraunt ....wow it was the best meal ever and the price was unbelievable! Breakfast was fab too.....I Would use this hotel again if we had something on in Glasgow and wanted a cheap bed for the night. |

Good restaurant, nice generous breakfast, bus 747 from the Glasgow airport stops just 50 meters from the doors, room clean, 15 min. Walk from secc, plastic window frames (no noise from the street), plumbing is in order. |

Reasonable location Cannot reserve parking it seems, though I requested they keep a space which they hadn't. Private parking was my sole reason for choosing there |

Lilla in reception was marvelous. She went out of her way to be helpful, not only to us but to many others who were guests at the Hotel. OUr apologies, we forgot to leave a tip forthe housekeepers. We each thought the other had done it and discovered neither of us had. Sorry. Wish Sutherlands hda been open Sunday evening. |
