It exceeded our expectations as we had never been to Glasgow before and selected The Argyll Hotel off the internet. The fact they had car parking was a big asset as we planned to spend time exploring Glasgow. On arriving at the Hotel, I asked if I could leave the car there the following day until our departure to the airport late in the afternoon. They agreed, to our request, without any hesitation. The location of the hotel was brilliant as we were able to walk, easily, into the city centre and explore some of Glsgow's famous sites. All the staff were very friendly and helpful.

WiFi worked well as was free In the guest house I had to go downstairs and upstairs with the luggage to arrive to my room, which was very uncomfortable. The bathroom was not comfortable and the shower didn't work well.

It was comfortable, quiet and clean. The staff was helpful and polite. Breakfast was free with the room and was a full, enormous breakfast, if wanted. Would definitely stay there again.

The beds were comfortable and the breakfast was very good, the receptionist was not the most helpfull, the staff in the dining room were first class. Did not like that my booking had been lost and that I had to fill in a registration slip as on it I asked for ground floor but ended up on the fourth. I bring this to your attention because as a disabled person I don't want anyone else to feel as baaad as I did. Making the booking was very easy just wish it had been as easy for me to

Close to secc, room dated but fairly priced so that was fine. Comfortable beds, warm. Easy to park despite no dedicated car park. Plenty of places to eat nearby. Pleasant staff who were helpful about giving instructions to other city locations. Room felt dated, in need of upgrading but did hve everything needed.

Friendly staff, good location Paid £120 for a suite, room was small, the matteress on the bed was very thin and the duvet was to small, nice touches with the wine and chocs but did not feel it was value for money. Eat in the resteraunt downstairs which was poor to say the least. To summarise ok for a stop over but would not be 1st choice next time we visit Glasgow.

Location is great in the West End. Close to Kelingrove and University and great dining. Linda at breakfast is a sweetie! They didn't have our reservation, but worked it out. Rumor has it that it will be undergoing a make-over - which is a good thing - its a bit tired.

Staff were very welcoming from the minute I was in the front door until the time I left. Restaurant staff were friendly and helpful too. I have stayed in 'posher' hotels in the city over the past 5 years but I would rather come back to the Argyle Hotel because of the lovely attitude of the staff. My room was facing onto the main street and there was noise from revelers for a little while but it did not keep me awake.

i liked the fact that we couldnt get to sleep because the noise from the heating system was so loud,we found out that other guests had been moved from the rooms the previous night also,i liked the fact that by about 4 am we couldnt take anymore so we got ready, went to the reception, complained and left. By far the worst experience iv ever had in any hotel !!!!!!!!!!!!!! i didnt like the fact that we got up and left this dreadful place during the night, eventually got my money back but the weekend was already spoiled . i wouldnt stay here again if you paid me !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
