This traditional family-run hotel is half a mile from the SECC and Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum. It has free Wi-Fi, free parking, good-value food and rooms each with a private bathroom. The Argyll Hotel is on Sauchiehall Street, across from, Kelvingrove Park and less than a mile west of Glasgow city center. Highway M8 and the Exhibition Center Train Station are just a mile away. The rooms are individually decorated and have hairdryers, tea/coffee and TVs with Freeview cable digital channels. Restaurant and bar were not open on a Sunday ( no prior awareness). Room was extremely in need of a good revamp and clean. Wall paper scored and hanging off wall. Decor a botch job. Bathroom suite different colours.

Good location for major venues, West end restaurants, nearby galleries etc, close to centre for shopping, close to m/way . Staff very accomodating.(Stored fresh produce in kitchen fridge for me prior to next day departure) Traffic noise (not used to it) . Found bed a bit hard.

The room was very clean, and comfortable.Breakfast was good. There was no mirror in the bedroom, making it difficult for the wife to do her hair.

The room was supposed to be £300 a night. We were put in a small room in the roof space with sky light window. We complained to reception but they said you will have to take it up with Booking.com.

We stayed in this hotel after a night out and loved it! The decor was homely and tasteful; it was clean and the staff were very helpful. The breakfast was nice and fresh and it was great value for money. We would definitely stay again...

I liked the fact it was so easy to visit the centre of Glasgow for shopping and the hotel was clean and the staff were friendly and the breakfast was good. Special mention for the young waiter that served us with our dinner. A polite and ppleasant young man

Breakfast was lovely well stocked buffet Decor in rooms was a bit dated but pretty. Location was great Room was quite small - alright for a short stay but wouldn't want to stay more than a few nights

A good clean, comfortable hotel in a great city centre location. 15 minute walk to main shops but only 5 to Kelvingrove museum. Breakfast good and staff friendly.

Breakfast was fine. We were told we could check in at 2:30pm. We arrived on time and were not allowed into our rooms until 3pm. We asked for a wake up call at 3am. Before bed we called the desk and confirmed the wake up call. We never received the wake up call.. and could have missed our flight. The night porter said the girl wrote in on a post it and never imput it into the system. I do not care what the problem was- this should not happen.

The rooms were nicely decorated staff yhere to help as I wanted a nice Italian restaurant and they told me where to go sldo 20% didcount because of it. Clean safe and will definitely be returning if I come to Glasgow.

I like the area where hotel is. The quality of breakfast was fair to the price of hotel (not bad) I don't like the card payment facilities and the way booking.com and this hotel have poor communication. Also there is a very bad parking facilities only 4 spot in a very awkward location.

The staff in the breakfast room were extremely kind and helpful (we came after breakfast closing time). We stayed in the Annex opposite the main hotel. For us it was to walk up the stairs to front door. Walk downstairs and then up again (same level as we came in). Think it would have been better to stay in the main hotel.
