We were made to feel welcome. Staff appeared to genuinely care about guests--not just going through the motions. Our room was very small. OK for us but would be hard for larger people. |

room clean,comfortable.hotel well situated with plenty of restuarants nearby and only a short taxi ride to secc. no hot water which staff did not seem too bothered about as we had a time which we had to leave hotel by ,ended up using bathroom facilities across road in argyll guest house.also booked meal but discovered a very limited choice on menu on arrival,ended up not having meal. |

Very quiet at night. Room warm and very clean. Only 2 of us but we were fortunate to stay in room for 5 so lots of space! Night porter very helpful. Breakfast excellent with friendly waitress. Able to find space in the small hotel car park most of the time but on the road parking not a problem either.Pleased with the location. Shower could have been hotter, suspect there may have been a cut off point to stop people burning themselves. |

I loved the the big corner bath, and the warm cosiness of the room-perfect after a chilly day out and about.Staff were very friendly and helpful.Great value for money and a good location. |

welcoming staff, nice rooms, i like the two beds inside the room,, i like the tv,it is fantastic. it is good that the hotel is providing the diner in the hotel with very nice service and helpful staff.transporation arrangenet is fabulous |

excellent ..booked 5 rooms unfortunally i think i got the worst room room 301 beside the lift..no-one should be put in this room or the hotel needs to service the lift to make it silent. |

We checked in very late at night. We were very well received. The room was nice and warm. The breakfast was excellent and the service at the restaurant cannot be faulted. Would definitely stay at Argyll Hotel whe we visit Glasgow again. |

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Food was excellent, great spread for breakfast and plenty of choice. Only problem I found with the hotel was the buzzing noise coming from outside, which did effect how much sleep we had. We had a room at the back and if we were to stay again I would definitely request a room at the front! |

As soon as we entered hotel the reception could not do enough to help giving directions to secc and providing us with a map. Our room was lovely and comfortable and we had a peaceful night would not have known that there was any more guests staying. In morning staff at breakfast buffet were so helpful and breakfast was tasty. |

shop, museums, easy walking distance of both, and also the SECC which was within easy walking distance breakfast hot plates did not keep the food warm, and the toast kept burning in the machine resulting in smoks and burnt toast smell in the dinibg room (and up the stairs) |

The staff were very friendly and made our stay very comfortable. The bar/dining area was lovely the food was fantastic and they have created a lovely family/friendly environment. We would most def stay again. |

Excellent breakfast; very friendly and helpful staff on the reception; comfortable room. Fixed TV very quickly when I called reception; The fittings are getting a bit old and some need replaced; e.g. the support for the shower head was broken and the TV stopped working at one point. |
