Laid-back, homely, unhurried, quiet. Stunningly beautiful surroundings. Child and dog friendly but not so that it feels over-run and totally child-centred - adults can chill out too. It doesn't need any spa-like facilities because the surrounding countryside is a spa - unspoilt in every way. It needs to stay that way because that it what attracts people to the area. It needs a spruce up, especially the outside and by that I mean a coat of paint, not a change of character. I've gone there quite a few times in the past 10 years and the food has varied greatly from very good to less-than-average pub grub - this time it was good. The hotel needs to establish itself in that way - get a good chef and keep him or her!! |

Room was good with a view as requested. Staff were very attentive. Menu was imaginative and served in bar or snug which could be noisy at times but staff alerted us to this. Shower in room was a hand held one where the temp was not controlled and no shower curtain otherwise room was excellent. |

Beautiful views over the water, sunset, serenity, quiet. Helpful and friendly staff. Superb breakfast. Excellent restaurant. Large, spotless bedroom and ensuite. Faultless. |

breakfast was nice no lock on the window.this meant locking our belongings in the car(really bad)..no lock on the bathroom door. squeaky old bed. could feel the matress not clean. Rock music tape playing at breakfast, we turned it off much to other residents delight.Drunk local in your bar on 2 occasions. Had to be handled by us to avoid confrontation. very expensive bar.even a cup of coffee.didnt go in the bar area again because of the drunk man and the cost.. nice bar meal, decent music and controlling alcohol consumption would be a good idea. |

Good location, and the pub next door was nice, as well as the children play area. Couldn't sleep on the queen bed though as the soft mattress would (strangely) let you fall to the sides. The room was under the roof and very hot, with no mosquito net that would have made it easier to open the window. Also no possibility to have breakfast before 8:30am was a problem. Not a bad hotel, but bad value overall. |

Ontbijt was goed geregeld. Kamer was schoon. We have a serious complaint about the Arisaig Hotel. We have booked this hotel for three nights, two rooms, four adults. When we arrived we were handed a card with details on the room. This card clearly indicated 50 GBP pppn When we checked out, we were handed a bill where the charges were initially indicated as 600 GBP as expected. However the lady handling the checkout had corrected the amount to match the deposit we had made using our creditcard on booking.com, being 640 GBP. There was no way we could persuade here to correct the bill. |

The room (number 5) was a single, clean and comfortable with a brand new compact en suite shower room. The bedroom décor was a tad dated but the room and bed linen was clean and tidy. Breakfast service was a little chaotic - no coffee, missing cutlery etc but the food was excellent. |

las habitaciones acogedoras. El baño aunque anticuado mejor que en otro hoteles de Escocia. No ponen la calefacción de noche (en agosto hacía 10 grados fuera). |

Nous avons appréciez la situation en bord de mer, le confort des espaces communs et des chambres (chambre familiale). Nous sommes arrivés vers 19h30 à l'hôtel, toutes les places du restaurant (petit) étaient réservées, nous avons dû nous restaurer au pub adjacent bruyant, peu propice à la détente avec nos deux enfants. |

Hôtel situé le long d'un loch avec vue partielle de la chambre. Chambre vaste et complète. Salle de bains ok. Personnel jeune, serviable, charmant et compétent. Pièces communes un peu vieillottes. Quelques difficultés de consultation internet (instable). Manquent rideaux opaques. |
