“Comfortable accommodation at a good price in stunning surroundings. I thoroughly recommend the boat trip in the MV Shearwater to the islands of Rhum, Eigg and Muck.”
Christopher,
London
In an area of natural beauty, overlooking Arisaig Bay towards the Isles of Eigg and Muck, this old coaching inn is family friendly and has a lounge bar. Arisaig Hotel was built in around 1720 as a coaching inn. It now has rooms with private bathrooms, most of which offer sea views. The comfortable lounge bar stocks around 70 malt whiskeys. A family friendly hotel, Arisaig has a playroom with many toys. The lounge bar is also suitable for children; they can also enjoy the live music shows in the evenings. Too much expensive! We have paid 160 pounds for our family (2 adults and 2 children) per night. The breakfast time was too late! On Sunday, they started to serve the breakfast at 9:00 (weekdays and Saturday 8:30). No shower curtain and no elevator. I will not recommend you to stay this hotel.

The attitude of the staff - when we arrived, the on line booking through Booking.com, for which I had the receipt, had not been sent to the hotel and all normal rooms were occupied. The staff quickly and cheerfully renovated the only spare accommodation a small room at the back to give us a place to stay. The staff were brilliant in reacting to a problem not caused by them. The meal of mussels followed by fish & chips (all local produce) was outstanding

Wonderful little hotel in the village of Arisaig. Unfortunately, I came when the internet was broken (my business depends a lot of having internet access), but the cafe in town was also without internet. Lovely staff, friendly all around. Quaint and quiet little stay. Enjoyed my time there. nearby Cafe Rhu has AMAZING cheese burgers. above standard excellent. and affordable Internet was broken for the time I stayed there.

Pretty much everything - very comfortable, great breakfast and friendly / helpful staff. Also does good and reasonably priced pub food in the hotel bar. Stunning location with great walks on the doorstep. Will certainly be returning! Nothing significant but room for improvement with the showers - maintenance of them and availability in all bathrooms. Also the wi-fi availability was patchy.

This was a great little hotel! We really enjoyed our stay here. The staff was very friendly. The room was clean and comfortable and the food in the pub was delicious. There was also live Scottish music in the pub the evening we were there which was definitely a treat! We would stay there again!

The staff was very helpful. The hotel was also very good. We are vegetarian and they were very accommodative in preparing a special dish for us. It was clean and room was decently sized. It was value for money. There was some problem with the room heater. Although they did manage to get it started after some trouble, we were feeling cold at night.

The staff was very nice, they tried to help us a lot when a leak appeared in our room and they gave us a lunch bag because we had to leave very soon. The hotel was a little old fashioned but nice anyway and very suitable for families.

Brilliant location in a quiet village ; good access to sails to small isles;staff attentive and friendly. Just needs a bit of refurbishing inside; evening meals in bar were a bit noisy and the dining/ breakfast room did not appear to be open every evening as an alternative. Felt it was just a little overpriced but that's probably because of the idyllic location and lack of much competition.

Most of the staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were spacious. It was located with easy access to the ferry and the train station. I trusted booking.com as I have used them before. I was quite surprised by the quality of Arisaig hotel. Most of the staff were quite polite and helpful. One older woman who apparently is related to the owner was awful. She was outright rude to myself and other guests. For example one of the guests couldn't get out of the room and the door had to be broken as the lock was not working. She told the guest they must have broke the lock and then I heard her telling another employee that the lock had been broken for awhile and sometimes didn't work. On their website it shows that it's steps to the beach which it is not. It is steps to water but for boats and no beach or swimming access. I would not stay there again and you might want to consider removing them from your reputable site.

We had a beautiful, spacious room overlooking the sea. It was very quiet, the staff were very welcoming and helpful. The breakfast was excellent and the dinner served in the bar and on the decking was superb.
