The Wheatsheaf Hotel is set in the beautiful Yorkshire Dales National Park. The restaurant serves dishes made using local recipes and produce, and the bar serves real ales.

Surrounded by the Yorkshire Dales National Park, this cosy B&B is situated in a quiet corner of Bainbridge, metres from England’s shortest river.

The Stone House Hotel is a classic Edwardian country house built in 1908, set in a stunning, secluded spot in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales. It has been family-run for over 30 years.

The location is excellent and we had wonderful views. The breakfast is really V. Good and our hosts were friendly but unobtrusive.
We were in room 8 which is classed as a triple. Perhaps it would be adequate for 3 children but it is definitely not good enough for 2 adults. No drawers or wardrobe so we could not unpack. No chair to sit down and we had to do the Arkleside shuffle to get past each other in our room. We did not have an en-suite instead we had a private bathroom down the corridor but the biggest gripe is that it was charged at the same rate as our son's room (£80 per night) which had all the things our room didn't have! I suffered from room envy!! i would suggest that room 8 should be turned into a really good single room or reduce the price.
Hannah and Terry the owners were very welcoming and friendly. Breakfast room had amazing views. Breakfast cooked to order with a wide choice of items you could have. Double room was comfortable, good facilities. In the centre of Reeth so cafés and pubs very close.
Nothing, we would stay again
Location good, annexe ideal for dog owners, decent breakfast.
Lack of space, parking facilities, photos not quite reflective of property, garden and dining area. Would have been good to get more information regarding surrounding areas, ie eating, walking etc. Perhaps some kind of welcome folder in room would be beneficial.
Room and view excellent. Breakfast first class. Hospitality excellent. Would definitely stay again. Excellent hosts.
Great location, friendly welcoming staff and good food.
The beds were extremely uncomfortable - hardly slept. Parking was tricky as was finding space in the village. There was no real outside space. Although there was a shower screen there was no shower.
The location and guest house were beautiful. Hannah and Terry were very welcoming and accommodating. We had a lovely stay.
The location was excellent, the view out of the window took my breath away when I first saw it.
Only one complaint - I would have liked a chair in the bedroom.
breakfasts, staff, tea and coffee in room, comfy bed. Friendly place.
Car park a bit tight, but there are areas in village to park.
View from the room was lovely - room itself and en suite a little on the small side but we didn't really spend much time in it. Comfortable bed. Brilliant breakfast.
Very deserving of 'the best breakfast' award. Tight spaces but great character of a 17th century stone house. Beautiful scenery all around.
We stayed recently for 3 nights in the annex. Liked the privacy and flexibility of the accommodation. Hospitality was great and nothing was too much trouble for Terry and Hannah. Breakfast was great and lived up to its 'Breakfast award' would love to stay again if in the area.
Terry and Hannah were very helpful and made us some bacon sandwiches to go as we had to leave very early before breakfast. The B&B is an ideal location a few yards from the main green.
Very freindly, helpful and accomodating owners.
Bathroom not adjacent to room.
breakfast and breakfast room
challenge to dry clothing and footwear after hiking the coast to coast trail in the rain.
Great location, hosts were friendly and very helpful, standards very high regarding comfort, hygiene, excellent Breakfast.
location in relation to village and surrounding areas, an ideal spot for various walks and country drives.
Hannah and Terry were amazing hosts. Even gave our kids some ice cream money as we left!!! We stayed in the annex which was perfect for the 4 of us!
Very friendly staff, very pleasant room and amazing breakfast
Excellent breakfast. Good friendly service
Limited parking but thats a general problem in Reeth
Friendly owners Breakfast - good variety and beautifully cooked Lovely picturesque village
Room too small. Barely room to move around and no storage space to speak of. No view from bedroom £80 for room was too expensive especially compared with 4 other stopovers this week while walking the Herriot Way.
Nice rooms with comfortable beds, friendly staff and a great breakfast.
Wifi in certain areas only, but this is not necessarily a bad thing as it made the children have to talk to us instead of being buried into their toys all weekend.
Breakfast. Comfortable bed. Good shower. Very clean. Nice area. Friendly owners.
The central heating seemed to be on all the time making the room feel quite hot. Although the bathroom was for our use only it was across the hallway. Dressing gowns were provided however, which was nice.
staff where very help full and polite
