we were kept awake both nights
staff were excellent, wifi was strong, room was clean.
No signal, no heating in our room.
Very friendly staff who did change our room at our request. Free wifi. Good bed in first room.
Very poor plumbing. Basement room has boiler under the floor - this is very loud and can be heard most of the time. Shower in this room did not work. Moved room to 3rd floor, quiet room but shower was just a trickle. Not good enough for the price paid!
The room was not comfortable television not working and I was not feel comfortable area were the room was
The staff were amazing and friendly, nothing see ed to much trouble for them. Location was perfect, the room was clean and beautiful.
staff friendley and helpful. breakfast better than expected. walking distance to town/pier.
tv signal wasnt very good when we moved the beds together as i was with my 3 yr old floor had receipt from 2013! too many stairs!
Woken up all nights by people shouting having a party and smoking in the room next door Moved into another room at 1am No lock on bathroom No mattress proctor Sheet didn't even fit properly Horrible horrible place I would never ever stay here again what a rip off at £85 Closer to the town than I thought do there's much more choice out there Don't stay here!!!!!!!!!!

the view, owners, staff
Friendly staff Lively room
brilliant hotel, friendly reception, comfortable room, free wifi
location 20-30min walk away from the lanes but otherwise faultless
Staff are lovely Room was spacious Quiet
The room was hideous looking Breakfast looked dismal Shower had no power Not much building matainence
Staff very friendly, great location for the town centre and seafront.
Rooms could do with a little touch up and I wish that the special check in times I requested and had approved had been passed on to all staff members to prevent confusion.
The bed was damaged, the mattress uncomfortable.
I stayed here with two other friends for 3 nights, in total we paid £210 so for only £70 per person it was good value for money. The facilities were adequate, and the breakfast was good. It is in a good location, right near the pier, I would stay here again with friends.
The pictures of the rooms were a bit deceiving, our room was very standard, and bathroom was very small. The view from our room was not very nice either, and the television did not work due to very poor signal.
Bath was lovely.
Carpet was very grubby, also room needed a fridge.
The location was a reason for booking, the room was interesting with great sloping floor(strange), paid more for sea view and it was worth it. Bed had a dip in the middle which was funny. Enjoyed our stay, thanks.
Room on top floor, was unable to connect to the free wi-fi.
Friendly Manager and good location.
Poor cleanliness, iron burn marks in carpet and dip in middle of bed. Rug under small table was a trip hazard. Over priced room, no facilities even though it advertised a bar and spa.
We were underwhelmed by the cleanliness of the hotel - especially the carpets looked like they had not been cleaned in months. Also, the 'continental' breakfast consisted of a mere few muffins and croissants, cereal and fruit salad which looked unappetising - you had to buy one of the non-inclusive options to even get bread. Disappointing.
me and my husband really enjoyed our stay at urban house leo , Leighton and the staff were really friendly , our room was excellent in size ,we had a fab nights sleep , wifi was superb , breakfast was really nice and fresh , the ensuite was really good and the shower was nice and hot and powerful :)
the only thing that we could say we didn't like about urban house is that the room needed a bit updating eg painting , new curtains .
Lovely stylish spacious room with great view, comfortable seating area, king-size bed, large walk-in shower and own fridge. Ironing board/iron a bonus. Good continental breakfast buffet including fresh fruit. Optional extra cooked breakfast very good.
Described as having microwave in room but this was missing. Mattress uncomfortable as sank in middle, though my 11 year old daughter found it lovely and soft! Sheets too small for king-size bed.
Close to the pier
The staff when they was there, was locked out of the hotel in the freezing cold as the desk was not manned and the number to call was no answer
Dirty, stained carpets, uncomfortable bed, lifeless pillows, meagre breakfast
Good Location Tasty and plentiful breakfast Attentive staff close to shops, cafe etc close to train station, bus route 3 min walk to beachfront Good hospitality Great wi-fi
room to hot
