Enjoy the relaxed atmosphere, great food and wine, and an amazing location on the Isle of Mull, overlooking Tobermory Bay. Some rooms have wonderful sea views.
Score from 199 reviews Good
The Isle of Mull’s oldest inn, The Bellachroy Hotel offers en suite rooms and a full restaurant menu showcasing local produce.
Score from 19 reviews Very good
Park Lodge Hotel is in the quieter, upper part of Tobermory, Scotland, a short walk from the busy harbour front. The rooms are comfy and modern, and evening meals are available.
Score from 171 reviews Good
Situated on the crescent of Craignure Bay, this hotel has stunning views over to Morvern and the west coast.

guess it was good for backpackers didn't expect such small rooms and bathrooms to be away from room as far position was lovely think I have learned not to book accommodation in uk with word lodge attached
rooms very very small...no where for suitcase shower downstairs away
Great value, with comfortable but basic accommodation. Well set up shared kitchen and lounge with free WIFI. The highlight was meeting people from many different nationalities in the shared area. Great views over the bay.
Lack of laundry facilities. Having a coin operated guest washing machine would have made it ideal. Beds were a bit narrow, pillows lumpy, but otherwise comfortable.
This lodge and the surroundings are absolutely beautiful. The location is great, being only a 5min drive from the harbour town Tobermory from which many great tours leave. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the rooms were cute and clean and the breakfast buffet had a good choice.
The kitchen facilities were well equipped and the "self -service" breakfast formula thoughtfully provisioned. Lounge and dining areas were very pleasant and sociable.
Although the food preparation areas were tidy and wiped up there was a lingering smell of stale cooking fat.
Away from turist's crowded area, withouth fixed hotel timetable for breakfast, you can enjoy the silence and the wiew. Not far from town and harbour.
The bathroom is. Quite small
staff made very welcome on arrival, advice on what to do on Mull, great shared self catering facilities, plenty of crockery, glasses & cooking utensils, good storage. Breakfast basics provided. excellent views and friendly sheep!
shared facilities but aware of this on booking
Clean, comfortable, and in an excellent location with amazing views. We had a lovely stay and would definitely stay here again.
Friendly staff, location is a few miles from Tobermory, but with direct bus connection and close to very lovely small beach. Very cute sheep, too, good facilities for cooking, and drying room.
Some rooms might be a bit on the cold side in the winter, but not sure whether that 's actually the case
Eating our breakfast looking out over the Sound of Mull. Well equipped kitchen, providing the opportunity to eat what and when you like. Drying room very handy after a wet day on Ben More.
Lovely location on Sound of Mull. V pleasant staff, v clean. Open plan living area with well equipped kitchen.
Shelf too low over sink in twin ensuite so difficult leaning over sink to clean teeth or wash face without bumping shelf.
The loft room was fanatic!
The standard room or friends stayed in was very basic.
- location - living room with a view
- self service breakfast and doing your own dishes
Great views, very clean and unfussy, helpful and friendly staff, good off street parking, near to Tobermory.
For the price you cannot expect any more BUT the one think thing that is a problem is the positioning (and noise) of the shower in the family room next to room 14 (second from end of top floor corridor). Whilst in bed trying to sleep, the noise through the adjacent wall from the next room showering sounded like a helicopter was coming in to land.
Good for people on a budget.
No TV or kettle in room. Other guests stinking up the kitchen/lounge by having fry ups. Very basic accommodation. Very surprised by beautiful comments in guest book!
We stayed in the small apartment with a sea view; light, well-stocked studio apartment. Quiet, loads of fresh air.
Despite being a lodge with facilities for hikers, the complex does not have a washing machine. I found this particularly troublesome; the weather in Mull can be 'difficult' and clothes need a lot of washing after a day out.
The location is convenient for exploring the whole of Isle of Mull. Room was ok, except the bathroom.
- The "lodge" is in fact a self-catering hostel - there is no staff in the building - if you need anything, you need to look for the owners. - Wi-fi not accessible in some rooms (No 8 in particular). - Bathroom wash basin UK traditional (you cannot regulate the temperature - either boiling hot or cold). - The room heating stops automatically after 2 hours so if the night is cold you will freeze. - Breakfast is provided in the fridge and the food includes bread, butter, cereals and cream cheese. - You're expected to wash and dry all you use. - Rooms are not cleaned if you don't specifically ask for it.
When we arrived on Mull we rang ahead to say we were going to be late (10pm) and this was no problem at all to the owners, they left our key in the room door and instructions on the main door. We were very impressed with the lodge it is bright and modern and the rooms were clean and simple with comfortable beds, towels and a sink. Toilets and showers were shared with other guests but this was no problem at all as each shower had its own door to give you complete privacy. There was a large open plan dining room/kitchen/lounge for guests to use and breakfast was self service which we liked rather than sitting waiting to be served a cooked breakfast that you may not really want. There was a wide range of cereals to choose from, plenty of milk, fruit juice, spreads and bread to make toast. The kitchen was fully equipped so you could make a cooked breakfast if you wanted to. There is ample parking outside and the lodge is in a good location, just off the main road north of Salen. I would describe it as a cross between a hostel and a B&B. All the comforts of a B&B but with the informality of a good quality hostel.
We enjoyed the friendly company of the other guests from so many places and the helpful staff at the Lodge
Lovely family run B&B. Very nice people. The sea view is excellent! Wonderful experience with sheep and dogs in the garden.
Not many option for breakfast. Wifi is quite poor in the room, but it is good in the sitting room.
Location, nicely decorated room, great bathroom
Wifi never worked
Good location, in the middle of island. Continental breakfast was sufficient.
This is self catering lodge, people were cooking diner and it was impossible to stay in the common hall/kitchen area.
Everything. Comfortable and friendly place to stay.
The beuatiful view and the kitchen and guestroom.
The breakfast very basic, and poor quality bread. The staff you never see and is not so friendly. It is not a lodge more a hostel.
The shared kitchen facilities are well equipped and have a great view. Good bathroom/shower too.
It was a bit hard for us to find - if your GPS sends you down a dirt road, don't follow it, turn around :)
beautiful scenery. clean perfect for backpackers
advertised as "near tobermory" when in fact it is 5km outside the town. parking difficult.
