location of the hotel was excellent food was good
parking was a bit hectic also we saw a big rat in the back garden
The location because it has direct access to park. Staff were friendly and helpful and the room was very clean and comfortable . Breakfast was of good and well presented .
Evening meal was expensive ,would have been nice to have a two corse menu , and better presented menu itself. It would have been nice to have had bar food at lunchtimes overlooking the park.
Excellent hotel with perfect location, nice breakfast. Rooms a little bit small, but its great value for the price.
Not the most modern hotel but it does not matter as this hotel gives you everything you could want.
Shower pressure was a bit low
Location close to town and beach/pier and lower park area could not be better. Staff friendly and magnificent breakfasts. Pro's definitely outweighed the Con's.
Getting a bit threadbare in places, will need some TLC/refitting sooner rather than later! Parking might have been a nightmare for a quick departure as the cars are parked like sardines in a can.
Location was the greatest thing about this hotel
Breakfast was the only thing wrong!
Was a good place to stay central location everybody was very welcoming and friendly would go back again
Location was amazing and great to have parking
As a small double room, the bathroom was very small-compact with little room between shower and wall
Location ideal Appealing building Lovely gardens Good breakfast Lovely staff Nice room
Bathroom a bit small
Location Lovely breakfast Friendly reception staff
Our bathroom was quite small and some of decor outdated
We needed one double for one night and were happy to accept the compact room which looked ok on the photos. More than pleasantly surprised with the room. We have stayed in much smaller rooms that were not described as "compact". The hotel was clean, in a good location, had free parking and the staff were more than pleasant. Breakfast too was nicely cooked and sufficient.
Our only grouse: the pillows in our room were very uncomfortable.
Excellent location , close to beach, shops, bars etc , good cooked English breakfast, room cleaned daily always clean
The staff were friendly made us feel welcome
The room was so small and too expensive. The carpets are old and smelly inside the room and the corridors, the bathroom is also small. My main concern was the smell and the state of the carpet
Clean and Friendly and food brilliant. Staff very friendly indeed and nothing was to much trouble.
Car parking a bit tight
Parking; Cleanliness; Location.
Unable to order a sandwich in the evening to take to my room.Hotel ask that you only consume food on site provided by them so should provide for evening snacks apart from dinner.
great location and the staff were friendly and welcoming, also good breakfast (providing you can accomodate their 1 hour window) as well as onsite parking.
room smells of your grandma's house, old fashioned sheets, v musty smell, tiny tiny (and v hot) bathroom, v dated and needs serious investment. Not worth the £135 per night rate.
The staff were only courteous to the regular customers. It would be more suited for the elderly.
- Nice friendly and helpful staff - Clean rooms - Nice location for BIC
- Small double room was very small. We had quite a lot of luggage and there was no space - Room was like a sauna even with windows open - Bathroom was tiny. Not enough space to dry myself properly
Shower/toilet so small I could not even towel myself dry in it . I had to walk through to the bedroom to dry myself! Had to walk sideways to get around the bed. Not what I would expect for the money charged
Location was great, Staff are great
breakfast not so good
Central position for beach, gardens and town. we felt hotel was good and served our needs very well.
The set meal time of being only an hour, the service was good but you felt rushed..
Smallest room I have ever stayed in and you could not get into the bathroom until you turned sideways to squeeze past the shower
Breakfast. Location. Free parking. Spacious room.
Not much really. If you want to be picky the place could do with a bit of an update.
It done its purpose as we were never in.
