Este prestigioso hotel de 4 estrellas está situado en 161 hectáreas de hermosos bosques y parques de ciervos. Cuenta con un spa de lujo con una piscina de borde infinito y un moderno gimnasio. El restaurante, galardonado con una AA rosette, tiene vistas al lago. El spa Armathwaite cuenta con piscina de hidroterapia, sauna y sala de vapor. También hay una bañera de hidromasaje grande al aire libre y un salón de belleza holística con salas de tratamiento. Las habitaciones disponen de TV vía satélite, reproductor de DVD, frutas frescas y albornoces. Tienen un diseño elegante y gozan de vistas al parque, a los terrenos del hotel o a un lago. The hotel is very relaxed with pleasant staff. We ony sampled the food in the brasserie and is was amazing the whole experiance was worth the stay and nothing was to much trouble for the staff they realy make you welcome. Although the prices are quite high when you get there you will forget about the price and enjoy a little luxury. Would have liked sky and a dvd player.

Very good room and the fodd and serrvice I the Bistro. Noisey children. The main restaurant only offer a set meny at £44.90 per person. So if you wanted a couple of courses then it made it very expensive.

Staff all very pleasant and friendly. Beautiful setting. Good rooms and excellent spa esp. The outdoor tub was fun! Evening meal was superb. They cater for dogs and put my sister and her husband plus dog on ground floor. In their bedroom there was an extra small room for the dog and also the hotel supplied dog bed and treats! Their room was close to an outside door which was practical and thoughtful. The billiard room was also very well laid out. Our room (154) had a strange sloping mattress! I was on the left hand side of the bed and felt like I was going to topple out of the bed! The pillow seemed very hard and I couldn't get comfy. However, there were other pillows I discovered in the morning so I could have done something about it had I noticed!

The experience was very good, feel relaxed and restored, beautiful surrounding , hotel kept it it's glory , staffs was very friendly and we felt very welcome , overall very good. Defenetly will be back again. Thank you.

Location excellent. Old fashioned part of hotel is lovely. Very small bathroom, noisy wedding guests in next two rooms. Lift outside our door on 3rd floor.

From the moment we arrived the staff went out of their way to be friendly and helpful-everything was accompanied by cheerful politeness. The rooom was very spacious, comfortable and the bathroom was luxurious. Public rooms were warm and welcoming, with excellent staff service. The food was of a very high sdtandard, good choices, well-cooked and beautifully presented and served. It was particularly good to see that everything was included in the price-often in other hotels a separate charge is made for coffee and chocolates. All in all it was one of the best hotels we have stayed in

Fabulous hotel with excellent service. Staff are very helpful & knowledgable. Food was excellent. Spa luxurious & range of treatments offered were great. Overall, would definitely recommend visiting.

The comfort and ambience of the hotel were excellent. The spa was immaculate and the staff throughout the hotel were very friendly but still proffessional. There was nothing I didn't like about this hotel

Comfortable,very relaxing.beautiful surrounding countryside. Staff very professional but extremely friendly high level of service Wedding guests sometimes end up mingling with residents using spa,which inappropriate for the bride and seems disrespectful as a resident wearing a dressing gown on the way to the spa

We were recommended this hotel and took a 2 day break on a dinner bed and breakfast basis.The hotel is in a spectacular setting with views over Bassenthwaite.On arrival we were met with friendly efficient staff and a glass of sherry to start our visit.We had a club room in the annex building which was very clean and had all accessories you would expect in a 4 star hotel.Dining in the restaurant was equally as good and exceeded our expectations.The spa facilities are excellent which we made use of each day.We would certainly recommend this hotel. Our room did not have aircon, but this did notaffect us too much as the nights were cool.

From the first second you arrive the staff do everything possible to make you welcome. The room was excellent as was the food, spa, location, views, gardens etc... Not a bad word to say about the place. 100% that i will be returning.

The professionalism and friendliness of the staff was absolutely exemplary. Not a cheap option but worth every penny. I defy anyone to find fault with this place!! An incredible experience and we have nothing bad to say about it.
