As we were attending the speedway this hotel has prime position as it is just across the road. It is also ode to the shopping centre and bus and trIn stations
Lighting dull in bedroom
Because the room I was given was all ready occupied I was "Upgraded" to a very large family room, this made for a great stay. The very brief look at a standard double room felt it would be cramped and not that comfortable.
The bed sagged into the middle causing us both to roll into the middle while asleep which caused both of us to continually wake up
the service was perfect staff very attentive
After travelling all day, we arrived at the Arndale Court Hotel to be greeted by warm friendly staff and a lovely clean room. Breakfast the next day was first class and the staff are to be congratulated on their professionalism and friendliness.
There was a function being held when we arrived and car parking was tight to say the least. This did not really affect our enjoyment of our overnight stay.
the room was spacious and it was nice to have a kettle and a fridge
The room was very stuffy and dark, the window only opened about 20cm and no air came in. We looked out against a wall, and they wouldn't give us another room. The food in the restaurant wasn't very good
Location Breakfasts Cleanliness Free parking Friendly staff
Bed was not comfortable TV had poor reception No lift Noisy water pump Too expensive for type of hotel
Kumar (hope the spelling is correct) the lovely guy at the reception when we arrived on thur 25th sept was great. Went above and beyond to get us warm milk for the children and was help re knowledge of area.
nothing not to like. Lovely
Hotel is ideally located for catching the ferries. But not really for leisurely holiday.
There was no relaxing lounge. There were no nearby enjoyable walks.
parking, breakfast, polite desk staff, very large family room
No lift with heavy cases, (although I did get help from nice helpful staff member).Nice homely place.Clean & comfortable.
Friendly staff. Quiet. Great food. Plenty of parking.
Cold water tap ran warm after a while, although this was only in my first room. Second stay, it didn't occur.
We stayed overnight on way to France and again on the return journey. A nice welcome both times even though we were very late on the first night. The family room on first visit was excellent & we were offered a similar one for the return but we turned it down for a smaller one that was away from main road. Breakfast was freshly made and very generous. Ample parking & ideal for ferry.
Need 2 chairs in double room - for watching TV and put overnight clothes
Room, Comfort, Breakfast menu, location, staff.
Very limited dinner menu unless you are a fish lover. menu was also very overpriced especially as all potatoes/chips and vegetables were extra.
Very good hotel staff lovely rooms big. Cater for our little dog too. Good location easy walk to town.
There was nothing we did not like.
The staff member was really helpful and friendly. The room was very comfortable.
A bit expensive, but probably it's cos i had to book on a short notice.
We arrives slightly before the book in time and as I had a bad back at the time the staff put on a quick spurt to get the room ready. Even the receptionist helped out. Great customer service.
Clean, roomy , toiletries and coffee making facilities
Didn't appreciate loud talking outside window 11pm and again 6am clattering bins across concrete path and being banged into a van, I guess the rubbish , noise went on for twenty minutes waking me, very hot room
Close to poole harbour
noisy air conditioning unit came on at 5:30 in morning
The food was good
Dirty carpets noisy location dreadful shower on a busy main road
Staff very helpful, checked us into one of our 2 rooms early so we could charge for a wedding. Lovely spacious room, though cars packed right outside our window were a bit noisy (needed the window open as the room was very warm). Breakfast was quite good the next day.
Bed wasnt great.
Close to train station also near to Quay
Breakfast times too early 7-9!!! 10am would have been better.
