The staff were excellent and they helped in the checkin process very clearly. The restaurant and food facilities were good and in tudor styled flooring. There was a party going on during our stay and they were very noisy. The noice were peak during 3 am in the morning and it was really frustrating.

I liked the fact that it was close to where most of my visit was to be. I didn't like the traffic noise ( could benefit from double glazing)

Comfortable, clean rooms. Close to City centre with good public transport. No BBC channels on TV for the whole 4 days of our stay. The stale air because the ventilator had been turned off in the bathroom. Poor room service (Two sets of towels taken when not requested and only replaced with one). Very limited supply of teas, coffees and milk in the hospitality tray. Old fashioned sheets and blanket o.k. except that the bed spread was very heavy.

Parking in City is expensive and difficult so we chose to stay outside the city, yet close, and used public transport (easy). Staff very helpful and friendly. Rooms old fashioned and looked tired (both like me) but were perfectly adequate since we only slept there.
