The location was perfect, within walking distance to all city attractions.. The Xmas markets were just around the corner.. Staff were really friendly and helpful.. There's a really nice restaurant and bar downstairs with delicious cocktails! We will definatley book here again next time we come to Manchester..
I can't fault this hotel or the staff at all.. We had a lovely stay and will definatley be back again!
The room was large, airy and very clean with an extremely comfortable bed, linens and pillow. Friendly helpful front desk staff and the hotel is in walking distance to everything.
Perfect for short shopping break, great location for shopping, restaurants and near all transport options, rooms were clean, fresh and comfortable, already planning our return trip next year
Comfort of the room
Service after being burnt by hairdryer
Location Friendly and helpful staff Spotless room
Some biscuits with the tea and coffee in the room would have been appreciated.
Friendly staff, central location, cleanliness, facilities
Great welcome, spotless, spacious and nicely furnished room/bathroom
Free wi-fi Variety of TV channels
I have stayed here a lot over the years, less so in the last couple. Still a good hotel, central location, with large rooms, comfortable beds, good fittings and a sense of design.
Not quite as 'sharp' as it was. Reception slow. Breakfast decidedly ordinary. Rooms beginning to look a bit tired. I booked a superior room but it was basic. A pity - this hotel used to be a bit special. Now it's good - but no more.
I think that it´s not very confortable for groups of friends because of double beds In a room for 4, if you´re not a family and you are a group of friends it would be better to have twin beds instead of double beds. Not very confortable.
Nice room, large bed and bathroom. Can listen to TV/Radio in the bathroom.
Good rooms, Good location
Bed uncomfortable and one couldn't move without the whole bed shaking and waking one's partner TV remote didn't work.
Great location. room very spacious and modern.
Only one pillow and no biscuits with the tea/ coffee
Our fridge wasn't working - replaced straight away. Asked for green tea - brought to the room immediately. Central location - Deansgate was lovely for food and entertainment. Thank god for air conditioning! Hotel staff extremely helpful and efficient
Hotel toilets were not that clean.
The location is great, the hotel is clean and tidy.
The only reason I have given this hotel fair and not poor is because of the lady on reception, she was very helpful and accommodating. The man I believe to be called Jack, certainly needed a lesson in customer service. Even though the bed was very spacious and comfortable, this was ruined by the heating, even though it was set on cold or turned off the room was so hot we had the windows open all night in November, hearing the party goers heading home at 4am really did add to a very short nights sleep.
Door key failed twice in one night necessitating return to reception, no apology offered. Sink plumbing exposed. Shower tiny with door folding in on showering area making access difficult and we are thin. Bed not really comfortable. No toilet brush.
The room was spacious, the breakfast was fresh although the same every day.
I think the staff at the reception were helpful but can be a little bit more hospitable. May be more genuine smiling will be great.
Staff and the manager were very kind and helpful. I asked in my reservation for a twin beds, and when it was not ready they up grade my reservation for free.
no free wi fi, but they give us 30 minutes free for the first night and 24 hours free in the 2nd.
Attentive staff make this comfortable hotel, located in central Manchester make this an ideal hotel to explore the city and surrounding area.
A small groupof guests who had no consideration for others when they arrived back in the early hours of the morning. Hence the fair marking in respect of sleep!
Helpful, friendly staff.
Lifts a bit dodgy.
Breakfast the ability to have in fresh cooked as well as the buffet
the gymn was very small and poorly equipped.
Location superb for shopping, theatres, restaurants. Taxis not needed Breakfast Staff Comfortable bed Spotlessly clean room
View from room 114. - superior twin room Bland depressing colour scheme in bedroom Room functional but soulless Very poor mobile phone reception No little touches like bottled water inadequate toiletries for twin room Awful characterless foyer Not 4 star standard
Nice rooms & Located in City Centre close to everything.
Location is very central and close to everything. Rooms very cosy and large for the same price rate in other hotels. Staff friendly
Wifi is free for only 30 minutes. Could use with free for all day. Breakfast a bit expensive
