The supberb location with direct access from Crawley station, the serivce to Gatwick airport, the design and room facillities, the quietness of rooms and the Gullicci restaurant - reasonable prices and great food! Breakfast price was too high (we didn't use the breakfast) and staff aon the fron desk were rather brusque

We asked to change rooms to one with an opening window. This was dealt with very well and we were pleased with the outcome. A real taste of luxury for us (but no biscuits in the room !) Really enjoyed the stay with everyone very helpful. Rather mean complimentary teas/coffe etc.

I loved the location - in the centre of Crawley so I could go to M&S for essentials. The room was very comfortable and quiet, perfect for a long sleep to get over jet lag. After landing at Gatwick, I was told to phone for the hotel bus using the yellow phone. After trying many times with no one answering, a kind man phoned the main hotel number for me. Why give these directions when no one answers the phone? Very frustrating! It took about 90 minutes of waiting before I finally got to the hotel.

Except for the closet rods that were positioned the wrong way, and the permantly fixed lamp that partially blocked the tv, the room was one of the most well planned/user friendly rooms that I have stayed in. Very convenient with the special access to the railway station.

Helpfulness of staff, specifically with regard to use of car park & shuttlebus to Gatwick. Spacious room and comfort. Cost. Having no lift from the car park to the reception. Some people would have difficulty carrying their cases up the stairs.

We needed to catch an early flight to Manchester. It was good to have 3 beds in the room. There were a range of eating facilities Awkward to find from the m25. I think you might give clearer instructions about the right turn from the main road and also about the fact that there are 2 entrances - one to the car park and the other to drop someone off

A wonderful hotel stay. Limited restaurant selection, but the healthclub and associated services are a must! Beautiful hotel, good service, quite enjoyable. Reasaurant staff, food selection, general atmosphere were disengaged at best. The food was good, but too expensive for the quality and amount. The only good spot in food choice was the 24 hour cafe that had friendly staff and a nice selection of pastries. However, again, when I ordered a ceaser salad that had to be made from the Italian restaurant, it was overly dressed, the presentation was unappealing and seemed to be just thrown together and the price was too expensive for the amount.

Staff very efficient and polite. comfortable room I booked the Arora in the belief that the Arora sign on the building opposiet the North Terminal at Gatwick was the Arora hotel. (In fact it is a Sofitel). It was a surprise to find that I needed a taxi to get to the actual hotel, somewhere in Crawley town itself. The second reason for choosing the Arora was to use the sauna/spa. I was disappointed to find that the facility was closed because of a staff shortage. Similar situation at Heathrow Arora on building but Hilton hotel

We stayed here the night before a flight from Gatwick and found the hotel to be very nice. We had dinner from the pub in the hotel and it was tasty and reasonably priced. The rooms were generous in size and clean and the tv had a good selection of channels. We got the shuttle bus to the airport for 2 pound 50 and that only took 10 or 15 minutes. We travelled from London to the hotel by train and the hotel is connected to the Crawley train station so that was very convenient. If I had to pick something the shower was a bit small but there was a separate bath so I guess that is why.
