Arora Hotel Gatwick/Crawley    

The location the size of the room the bar etc are all excellent, having stayed there before it is great value and I will be back. It has to be the best value Hotel i have ever stayed at

There is nothing begative regarding the Hotel

the reception staff were efficient and accomodating. nice room and clean and comfortable bed and bathroom...overall loved it there!

Convenient location- close to Gatwick following an evening flight. Due to unforeseen circumstances had to leave early the next morning and could not have breakfast or enjoy any of the hotel's facilities however our room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. All members of staff were very pleasant and helpful.

Food in Morgan's Bar. This was dreadful!! One member of staff on duty - he was very polite and helpful but under enormous pressure in a very busy bar. We ordered only one meal because of the number of complaints we had witnessed whilst waiting but ours was equally as poor and certainly not value for money. We poured approximately 1/4 pint of water off a plate of chilli and rice. We complained at the time and were assured the kitchen would be told.

poor reception, no clear explanation of how to get to airport / return trip. I was very tired when I arrived and had to wait 1.5 hours after I arrived at pick up point for collection. I complained at desk but didn't have time to stay on and complain further. REALLY DISAPPOINTED as I've been recomendining this place for years.

The design, the luxury of the hotel, very friendly and attentive staff. The breakfast was second to none. Great bathroom and comfy bed. Large TV in the room.

The room we had was adjoining next door with a door, which made it very noisy as you could hear next room as if they were in your room. Dirty stain on the duvet cover. Maids chatting with each other outside the room very early so woke us up.

Very convenient for Gatwick airport. Very good breakfast and helpful friendly service. Local area great for shopping/eating whilst waiting for connections. They should ensure that a local taxi firm should charge a uniform rate for airport transfers close to shuttle bus prices, but this is optional and not a hotel issue.

tea tray. only 3 little milks. had to fetch carton of milk from shop. include b'fast in park and stay rate?

Very friendly and attentive staff. this is my second stay. very relaxed common areas . room clean and very comfortable. finally a room in London that I can feel at home. nice place to relax. just 40mins from London Victoria station. county mall near by has every thing you need. Much thanks to all staff for making my stay very relaxing . W

Computer systems need to be upgraded. after 45mins tryin to do web checking for my flight. gave up and went to Gatwick airport 3 1/2hrs early.

its right by the train station and very close to the town

it doesnt have a pool or hot tub and my stay didnt include breakfast

There was nothing to dislikelarge room and superb food. will definitely return and persuade friends to visit the Arora Hotel.

There was nothing to dislike.

The Room, great bathroom,the cleanliness and the "airy" layout of the hotel.

The resraurant (The Grill). We found the food to be expensive,but mediocre. For the prices the portions were very small and just "nice", nothing more. I think it is very surprising that a 4* Hotel resaurant should run out of chips/fries on a Saturday night!!

The overall experience in the hotel was very good.

The price of drinks, tea/coffe I felt was a bit expensive.

Air condition not working

It is a great hotel.

On this occasion the shower head fell off and the bed mattress was uncomfortable.

Easy access and helpful staff

I thought there was a pool and spa but nobody told me this upon arrival.

Noise level from other patrons in the early hours of the morning.especially ones staying in the next room and reception did not do anything about it.woken up at 1am

Excellent location within walking distance of Crawley Town centre and with the bonus of a pick-up bus to Gatwick. Ideal for a couple of nights' stop-over between long flights, as there are loads of train connections to London and Brighton. Room was quiet, so slept well. Didn't check out the food as I ate out in town. Free wi-fi worked well in the room too.

Can be very busy at reception as there seemed to be a lot of large international sports groups at the hotel this weekeend. But the staff were courteous and efficient.

The open space downstairs was awesome. Good beakfast also. A good size room with all the facilities

The price on the food was a bit high. EG, Cottage pie was around 10 pounds for a bowl but nothing else with it?? No chips etc. If you wanted them it was extra. I know its London but thats a bit steep

Location of hotel

Shower not working properly breakfast was terrible, cold not at all organised, to many people,there was a world championship karate going on locally, everyone it seemed was staying at this hotel so breakfast was not good

Comfortable room, spotlessly clean. Very nice sauna and steam room. Hotel staff very helpful. In a good location for Gatwick airport, direct access to the train station on arrival, provides a frequent shuttle to the airpport and also within walking distance of Crawley town centre if you want to eat out. Good value for money.

The staff were excellent particularly as my baby son was sick in the room and the staff cleaned it up very quickly and efficiently and offered us a different room if we would be more comfortable. Airport transfer was efficient and quick.

Clean, modern rooms, great service and staff. Good shuttle to LGW and excellent parking package. Quiet corridors!!!

The Grill was a bit expensive for what you received.

The bed was terrible worn out didn't sleep all night We had just spent 2 nights in the premier inn it was fabulous you cannot expect people to spend hard earned money on a hotel and not sleep.if you do not keep your rooms up to standard people will go elsewhere. We travel a lot to the UK and I don't think I will be visiting you again. I value my money and am carefully where I spend it. Come on get it together.

Clean and spacious and well designed Central in Crawley

Ignorance of staff at check in .. Checked people in who came after me to desk and no apology while i just waited And while being checked in were ignorant in answering other people who popped up to ask questions instead of asking them to wait. Overpriced restaraunt and waited over half hour to take order
