Friendliness of staff and willingness to help with my slightly unusual requests - I was entered in the Ride London 100 (a 100 mile cycle event) and needed to be up very early and before the normal breakfast serving time. They managed to ensure that I had an adequate meal before I rode to the event. Helpful advice and practical help was given to ensure the security of my cycle.
Great value, spacious clean room, helpful, friendly staff. The bed was very comfy and I was pleased that the TV had a build in DVD player!
Everything was great
The customer service was very good and the workers there were very nice which always makes me enjoy the stay, the was worth the money
The double bed were put together by two single bed which made it quite uncomfortable to sleep on
Room the size of a box, damp, smelly hole in the floor, dirty bedding no WiFi. Rubbish staff, nosiey,tv and kettle didn't work!
Near the station in Ilford Cheap Clean
Sink blocked easily Wifi was very temperamental Pushed two singles together to make a double bed Breakfast stunk the whole place out Very old hotel The TV barely worked, very small, old Plugs not located conviniently Had to share a bathroom
The hotel was selected as I was taking part in the Prudential Ride 100. As an early starter I needed a place nearby to sleep. The staff was really made me welcome and allowed me to keep the bike in my room. As I was leaving before breakfast, they ensured that I had food in my room to eat in the morning. I will certainly go back next time.
Ilford is not a great place. After strolling the high street, I found two tough pubs full of thugs with tattoos - not the sort of place where one would like to have a nice meal. Of course there is the usual chains like subway, but no real place for a pint and pub food. I took the train back to Liverpool st to find somewhere decent. The hotel is great, so if you are on a budget, the best strategy stay in Ilford and be prepared to travel a few stops on the train for a good eating place.
The lovely younglady who showed me to my room and arranged my early morning breakfast was delightful.Nothing was too much for her
Really friendly staff and great location. For the price excellent.
Friendly welcome comfy single beds Cooked breakfast offered on entering dining area plus cereals toast and fruit juices tea and coffee. Tea/coffee making facilities in room
Some basic maintenance required our shower hose was split and difficult to get out of bathroom.
The generous space, tea making facility, complimentary wifi though slow, fridge in the room, nice back yard/ compound.. felt like home away from home..
Slow/intermittent wifi signal,
a toilet in the room,i couldnt take my little son to a shared toilet
the wifi was poor,never worked.
Clean and well made room. Both bed sheets and pillow cases were clean and very comfortable. breakfast was nice and continental with Nice choice of drinks for the morning. staff was very welcoming and professional and listen well for any feedback given
Bathroom facilities could be a bit more modernised and kept clean on a regular intervals. Staff can't help the arrgoagnces of public who can't clean after them self's up when your using a shared bathroom. Overall a nice cheap and cheerful room for a one night stay! Especially for £30!
very friendly and good service
Easy to find, good location, fabulous breakfast
Wifi was good.. Breakfast was as described.. Full English and staff were on hand to help.
Very cramped toilet and bathroom... Threatened with forced eviction by receptionist when told him that we'll check out 15 mins after 11 which is check out time.. Staff are staring at European women who do not fit the description of non European. It was annoying to my partner.
Very good links to south London (I was into c.wharf in around 30 mins). Great value. Room was small (single) but for the money was very good. Even included breakfast.
Hotel destined very close to railway station, it's only about 30 min to get to central London (zone number 4). There is many cheap shops near station where you can to get cheap and good food. So, it's better and cheaper to live here, not in central London. Staff is very friendly, rooms are nice. Toilet was clean. And VERY good breakfast. So, we was glad to stay there.
At the night before departing we had a crucial need to book an hotel for the very next day at different destination, and this was absolutely impossible because of very, very slowly internet connection, although 2 days before all was alright with it. At last after 2 or 3 hours reconnecting we have done that. It's only bad recollection of that hotel.
Customer service and breakfast facilities.
The flooring carpets both d dining room and d bedroom was very dirty and old.
Freeview tv. Wifi. Large room.
Toilet blocked easy
Location was convienient for station and restaurants. Staff very friendly and helpful
Facilities old and not very clean carpet and net curtain dirty no mattress covers which means you are basically sleeping amongst other peoples sweat and body fluids. lots of rubbish and cigarette ends outside front entrance
Great Layout of Rooms, nice staff, perfect location 20 seconds away from station. Nice solid victorian building to give a traveller a real sense of relaxing away, while seeming like home as well.
The wifi was erratic. Even though the world cup is/was on, they should still install proper wifi.
It is located right by the train station and exchange shopping mall.
The bathroom was very small and the bathroom door wasn't locking and coming off the hinges.
The staff were very friendly.breakfast was also nice.a good b&b for the price.iv had a brilliant time at london.so above all a cheap place for a weekend
No plug for bath in bathroom.room was dated.needs a refresh.bathroom needed redecorated .
Location was convenient. Wi-Fi was good.
Impertinent, impudent and incompetent management. Lured me in by showing incorrect photos of the room and instead of helping me and owning up to their mistake, I was asked to leave as if I were the culprit and was also accused of something I couldn't even imagine to do! As agreed with the receptionist, I did not get any breakfast packed and left outside my door. Very poor customer services. Being close to the train station doesn't mean you can treat your customer's poorly. Manager is in desperate need of skills training, conflict resolution and customer services. How can you run a place with that kind of a bad attitude?!?
