Nice and helpful staff. Decent breakfast, although not particularly impressive.
I chose the hotel for its location, and paid the price for it. The room was supposed to be for a small family, but it was really disappointing: 6th floor without elevator, no bathtub (only a ridiculously tiny shower), not much hot water, small TV, slow wifi which didn't always work. Also, the main light in the room activated a fan which produced such a horrible noise that we preferred to use only the small lights. I don't understand how this hotel can have such a decent score, in particular for this price. I regret choosing it.
The breakfast was well stocked and hot/cold plenty to choose from. The beds where very comfortable The staff where lovely, friendly and helpfull
The room we had was small and cramped, my friend could touch both walls side to side - just to give you an idea! - cleanliness was not a high point around the room, although the bedding was nice and fresh. If you have a heart problem you need to ask for the ground floor as there are lots of stairs and no lift
The staff were friendly on arrival and the location was very convenient.
It was far too expensive for the quality. The decor was very tired and worn and the bathrooms (shared) weren't particularly nice. My room was at the front of the building and I was woken up by noisy people in the street.
Good Breakfast Everything else average
Small bathroom Bit overpriced for what you get
Loved the lounge with masses of mags & papers. Breakfast was excellent and value for money. Staff very friendly.
Stayed in room 1 which meant we heard all the comings and goings all night. Double bed was lumpy and uncomfortable. Bit dusty in corners.
room was dated. Shared bathroom. And we'll overpriced
Excellent breakfast, very friendly reception, nice lounge, good location for theatres Drury Lane
traffic noise mattress (very soft)
The best place in the area, i come back at this hotel in the next visit to London!
Location, proximity from St Pancras and best city spots.
Very small bathroom, WIFI not very efficient
refilling of breakfast trays (self-service) could be better
Breakfast and location were great. The staff was exceptionally good abd helpful in my opinion.
Wifi was a bit slow every now and then.
Really poor ventilation and very small room but very friendly and helpful staff.
Central location, cozy rooms, clean, good breakfast, good value for money
Reception was very friendly and very helpful.
nothing, perfect for a quick stay
bed comfortable & calmness of bedroom proximity all buses disponibility of the staff
impossible to choose between cold & hot water in the shower upstairs
Location is superb, Breakfast includes hot selection as well, Room did not suffer from people traffic, but the external fans made a really loud rattle! Staff are great - really helpful
Paint peeling off walls Shower head really unpleasant Radiator falling off the wall Bit damp in the basement Beds are rock hard! Saying that, I would still use them again at the price!
The staff were very friendly and helpful, the hotel is in a good location and for London the price is quite good. The sheets and towels were very clean and crisp white. The shared bathroom was also very clean. Besides the cooked breakfast the selection was good with loads of cereal, fruit juice, toast etc. With a bit of upgrading and attention to detail this hotel would be great as the staff make you feel so welcome.
Unfortunately the room was very tired looking and in desperate need of upgrading. The curtains were so dirty I couldn't bear to touch them to close them at night. The sink in the room wasn't very clean and the glasses had smudge marks on them. Also the cooked breakfast was cold but they did microwave it for me! What a shame, just a bit of effort and it would be great.
Just thought it was a bit expensive with no pool or spa and the food was a bit over priced.
The bath/toilet away from rooms
Room needed bit of updating.
The location excellent for sightseeing, the staff were efficient and friendly.
The amount of stairs!
location, bkfst and overall was nice
rooms super small, could have been a bit cleaner ( carpet wasn't vaccumed properly in room only). Internet connection slow or bad at times.
Room size but hey it's London so no problem.
Location was great. Staff were friendly.
After we left my husband discovered he was covered with bedbug bites. We spent the next day heating everything we owned in a dryer to make sure we didn't transfer them to our friends house. We have contacted the hotel but have had no response as yet.
