The man who runs it was very very accomodating giving me an upgrade because I am disabled to the first floor instead of second. He was friendly and welcoming and we could not have had a better reception. Bed very comfortable and room clean. Nice breakfast. The decor was very dated. I had a look at other hotels and all on the island were similarily old fashioned, even the more expensive ones. |

The hotel was adequate as a bed and breakfast facility and the staff were helpful and friendly Having paid for a superior room including a fridge I was disappointed that the room was smaller than expected and although there was a fridge it wasn't working |

The Apartments were well equiped with everything you need and they are only a 5 min walk from the centre of Douglas. |

The morning staff girls were lovely and the food was lovely and hot. The hill up to it then three flights of stairs up to the room. |

Owners friendly, food mediocre, mattress, pillows diabolical. Breakfast excellent. Night food let it down and was costly. Bedroom small and well worn, not what I would expect for almost £70 |

A really lovely, clean and well kept guest house in a typically English style. The rooms were clean, basic but comfortable. Breakfast was cooked to order and excellent as were the staff who were really helpful and nice. A really good hotel in great surroundings. Well reccommended. |

Excellent friendly staff, very accomodating and an automatic room upgrade as it was available. Good breakfast and comfortable. Helpful with local geography (maps/directions etc) |

The friendly and helpful attitude of the proprietors. I felt like a guest not a customer. I was even helped with a bit of basic first aid on my first night. They were happy to make reccomendations on where to eat in the town. |
