Owners friendly, food mediocre, mattress, pillows diabolical. Breakfast excellent. Night food let it down and was costly. Bedroom small and well worn, not what I would expect for almost £70 |

A really lovely, clean and well kept guest house in a typically English style. The rooms were clean, basic but comfortable. Breakfast was cooked to order and excellent as were the staff who were really helpful and nice. A really good hotel in great surroundings. Well reccommended. |

The friendly and helpful attitude of the proprietors. I felt like a guest not a customer. I was even helped with a bit of basic first aid on my first night. They were happy to make reccomendations on where to eat in the town. |

The staff were fantastic, especially when we arrived at 3am due to a late ferry. Rooms are small but comfortable with all the facilities you would expect The breakfast service was a little slow, however if you are just there to relax this would not be an issue |

Tidy and very useable rooms. Very friendly and helpful people at the hotel reception. Very poor sound proofing. Could clearly hear the folks upstairs speaking and walking around. When other residents passed in and out through the front doors it was particularly noisy - doors tended to slam. |
