Price was twice what I would expect for this standard of accommodation. Was there something on in London that has pushed prices up to these levels?

Everything was good value for that I paid. The room was very clean and comfortable. Nothing to complain about.

I liked all personal contacts with staff.

I was disappointed that I could not telephone even to London friends! Also, the narrow space of the breakfast room and every morning queue was unpleasant. Also, in the bathroom the guest does not know where to put shaving and other personal equipment...

The location, close to Kings Cross station, the breakfast facility, quite a good size room for the area and price range. Cleanliness.

That you have to pay for internet connection, and for storing your luggage if you wanna keep it in the hotel after check out and that some staff demands paying upon arrival before the room was seen.

The bed's were clean and comfortable. The staff were helpful. It's ok for a base although could be generally cleaner.

The flooring was not great we were pleased we brought slippers. We had a crack in the window which we made staff aware of but nothing was done. The walls are very thin so you can hear other stayers move around, talk etc. The breakfast looked vile so we went out everyday. We could smell smoke as we walked through the hall to our room so the £30 fee was obviously not a deterrent .

Place was spotlessly clean.friendly receptionists.proximity to railway station.

Breakfast room a little too small.on one occasion had to wait for a table.

The staff is very good and location.

Breakfast was very poor ,there is no fork on breakfast also. Few days in the morning there was not hot water,room very small.

We liked where it was situated not far from the train station.

The breakfast was pretty good.We have warm water all the time.

We booked a real room,not a basement!!The room didn't have to switch for the radiator.As a result the room has almost 30 degrees!!The room wasn't cleaned up during our 5days stay.

It's a two stars hotel. Don't expect much.

The Entrance to the Hotel could be improved, it just doesn't look very welcoming. The dining room could be bigger, but it all seemed to work out eventually when everyone arrived at once!

The location was handy - just a short walk from Euston and from there to my event at the Business Design Centre, in Islington. The bed was comfortable.

The accommodation was extremely basic and noise levels were quite high due to very thin walls/ceilings. Also, breakfast offered very poor choice.

Shoddy room. Noise of traffic. Dirty walls. Walls so thin we could hear the movements of next-door guest.

I liked the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. I liked the location and smart, bright appearance of the hotel, both inside and outside, and the comfort and cleanliness of my room, and the decor of the hotel in general. I enjoyed lovely breakfasts and appreciated the extremely helpful waitresses. In all, I enjoyed my experience there very much.

There was nothing at all that I didn't like. No complaints , only praise.

Close to the underground and city centre.Good breakfast, toast, cheese, ham, tea, coffee, yogurt, juice. A wide choice.

The lift didn´t work.

After visiting on this occasion I found a great deal had improved from my previous visit. I was truly impressed. It was two or three years ago when I visited and thought it could do with refurbishment. Saying that I found the staff to be extremely helpful and only to glad to make our visit worthwhile and a pleasure. I will certainly be recommending your hotel to friends.

The hotel was clean and the staff were courteous and helpful. We would probably consider staying at this hotel again if we were able to book a genuine twin-bed room.

I am not able to say whether the price charged represented value for money because we have not used other London hotels. Breakfast was as advertised – basic - but the breakfast-room was very small and waiting for a table was inevitable at peak times. We felt that our room should not have been offered as a twin bedded room because of its small size and narrow shape. It is the first time that we have seen two single beds end-to-end rather than side-by-side. As a result the tv set which was mounted 2 metres up on the wall between the beds. Which were more than 1 metre apart, could be viewed by only one person at a time sitting on one bed (no chair). On the second day of our 4-day stay there was no hot water. This was rectified within 30 minutes of advising reception.
