Arriva Hotel  

This hotel was dirty, unsafe , smelly,broken windows, dirty bathroom, uncomfortable bed. Unhelpful staff very bad value for money.I Checked out a night early as it was so bad, they then refused to refund the money back for that night,even though I wasnt staying. This is a trading standards issue aas this hotyel is not as described,Please can you investigate this as I require a full refund ans the hotel wasnt willing to do this .

Cheapest hotel we could find but still a nice clean room and friendly staff. Also it was only a 15 minute walk from the convention we were attending over the weekend. Compared with how expensive all the other hotels in the area we looked at were, it was great value for money. Would definitely recommend to friends and would definitely come again.

The breakfast area could do with being a little bigger. A few people were struggling to find an empty table.

Adequate room if on a tight budget.

Room was far too small. Basement location, but no security grilles on window. So windo had to be closed overnight.

Was convenient for St Pancras Station and Eurostar break.

Not realy impressed with breakfast room or breakfast.

I wish we had spent our last night of our holiday somewhere else, & that our family was staying somewhere nicer. Horrible rooms- so small, outdated & unclean. Struggled to sleep due to noise coming from upstairs & someone snoring... Extremely thin walls. Then in the morning, there was no hot water!!! Asked at reception, she said sorry but at least breakfast is free... Breakfast terrible, nothing to select from anyway, & that's if you can get in the pokey room they have it in. Unhelpful staff, terrible facilities & felt totally ripped off, & disappointed. Would recommend anywhere else but this hotel!!!

Our intention was location which in actual fact wasn't that good.

We dislike everythings with this hotel and wonder why they used the classification of hotel.

The staff were all friendly and went out of their way to help. The price was very competitive and location very handy for the tube and international rail travel. The room was basic, but it was sufficient for our stay. The bedding and towels were changed every day, which was lovely. Thank you.

Good location - close to kings cross tube

Breakfast room is very small and cannot cope with the number of guests.

Not far from the King's Cross underground. Small clean room, good clean bathroom with a convinient european faucet (which is rare for britain :) ). New tv-set with lots of channels. Fridge, kettle, tea/coffee bags served. Helpfull reception.

Quite poor sound isolation - the neighbour rooms can be heard. The cleaner sometimes forgot to bring the towels or the soap. The upper blanket on the bed could have been cleaned better - the's been a bit dust on it.

The Arriva is within two minutes walk from Kings cross station so getting anywhere in london is easy. The rooms were clean but small though ours was away from the road so quiet.

The water pressure in the shower was pretty weak.

Very tiny room and bathroom. Filthy carpet. Sheets and towels were clean. Very little water in shower. Breakfast is the worst I ever saw.

Booked for it`s location to St Pancras for an early Eurostar departure. Although in what appeared to be a quiet road the noise of traffic was constant until past midnights. No good double glazing , one window pane cracked! Breakfast was started at 7.30 am We had to leave at 7am and altho` breakfast was included in the cost. The reception said that no refund would be possible for not have the breakfast !

Another client on the same holiday as ours had the same 0pinion as us and said that altho` she was book in again upon her return she was getting her daughter at home to cancel the second stay. We would not recommend this hotel to any of our friends and we definitely would never re book this hotel ourselves. .
