The view little Australian girl we could have taken her home lovely girl
No entertainment follow up to Christmas, fan in bathroom was very noisey
Price, location, comfortable bed, plenty of hot water and cooked breakfast.
Negative depressive personality of Karoke singer, lack of staff on duty at check in, speed of internet, lack of computer in lounge
Perfect location Friendly staff
Reception/bar area cold during the day
Ordered scampi and chips, got bits of fish in bread crumbs.should have said we.have no scampi
Not a lot.
The bedroom was freezing as was the duvet, dirty tissue paper on the floor, shower was terrible, breakfast was to little, staff Said we had to be in the restaurant for 7.30am which was a lie.
value for money helpful staff good facilities location and views evening meal breakfast
I could not fault the staff for their manners and friendliness to me, nothing was too much trouble, and the food was excellent and piping hot. The only complaint was that there was too much of it for me, if you can call that a complaint! And what a fantastic view to wake up to in the morning!
Room was very spacious and clean. Staff was super friendly and helpfull, they even wanted to take our luggage up to our room. We had a lake view which was spectacular
Could do with a new mattress and they have issues with the hot water. It never really gets warm enough to take a bath. There aren't many eating places in the area so you are "forced" to eat at the hotel restaurant and the quality there is ok but not super. Same remark with the breakfast, meat quality is not good
good food and pleasant staff
Lovely room, great location and fabulous view.
Advertised as being in Luss however it is a 30minute taxi ride from Luss. We were attending a wedding at Lodge on the loch so needed somewhere close by to stay. We paid £79 for the room and a further £40 to the hotel from Lodge on the loch & £40 back again the next day. The staff did not speak a word of English and hotel extremely noisy.
The kindness and courtesy of the staff.
Staff were very helpfull Breakfast was good. Room was nice. Setting beside the Loch was awesome. Cute little town.
Kinda of isolated from other areas!
Beautiful old building right on the banks of Loch long. The view from my room was spectacular more than making up for the slightly faded room and vintage lift.
I didn't sleep too well as it was a very windy night and with a damaged window and loose panel in the bathroom, the wind made a bit of noise.
unfortunately sleeping was difficult with noise from squeeky floors above us. Bus groups rise early, seemed like 5:30 am with lots of walking back and forth.
The views from the hotel, were amazing, the dining room staff were helpful, and the breakfast was good.
There was black mould on the windows and frames, and the windows were painted shut. there was no hook in the bathroom to hang a robe on. there were no glasses to put your toothbrush in. or to rinse your mouth with. very skinny pillows that were totally non- supportive.
Breakfast was very nice, looked forward to it each day!
I'm afraid I did not like the entertainer on the Saturday evening - sorry!
Main course dinner excellent - steak pie delicious! Room clean & comfy Lots of hot water for showers etc.
Desserts a bit of a disappointment. Saturday night entertainer didn't know the words to all his songs! Bar shut at 11pm.
We were pleasantly surprised, considering this hotel was a 2star rating. The breakfast was good choice, I would have liked 2 have some yogurts and bluberries added 2 menu,
Although the room was addicate, tthe wallpaper was a bit shabby. The staff could be more welcoming.
The location of Hotel, nice walks round about, the Staff from reception to dining room were very efficient and friendly, rooms were clean. The dining room menu had a good choice and the food was good.
Unfortunately that nights entertainment couldn't make it and there was a stand in, not good.
The service at the dining room was excellent.staff very attentive.well done staff.
I was in room 227 and the mattress was very poor.mattress was very thin and could feel every spring.not good at all.please deal with this issue after all eveyone needs a good nights sleep.
The bed was a bit small and the doors were very squeaky!
Staff are brilliant, and always extremely helpful and polite.
The side of the building my room was on, the road noise is excessive. But then I do live in a non urban area on a minor road, so not used to much traffic noise.
Friendliness of staff
Thickness of walls
A very pleasant and comfortable stay wuth friendly staff. Our bedroom requireda little updating but everything was clean and food was good. we certainly loved our view of Loch Long each day
We were on 2nd floor so wifi wasn't brilliant in the room....needed a range extender or additional router - Was much better downstairs.
