Situation with good parking and in countryside yet close to Brigg. Pleasant part-owner withy mini farm - pigs,ponies, meerkats, rabbits, geese and hens. Good ale - Black Sheep. Fresh goose/chicken eggs for sale.

Not the cleanest - mould round shower although rest of bedroom clean, breakfast room gloomy and not decorated since our previous stay 5 years ago. Had to go into kitchen (not the most inspiring !!) to ask for marmalade/jam and brought a handful of half-used jars.

Very convenient location. Great for us as we have dogs and the rooms are in a separate building so you don't have to take the dogs through the main building. Good selection of homely food available in the bar/restaurant.

Hotel was clean, warm and much better then I expected. Room had brand new carpets and was spotless. Beds were very comfy and for the price could not have expected more. Food was good quality and also great value for money, with lovely proper Lincolnshire sausages on the cooked breakfast.

Bathroom is a little tired and needs a re-fresh, but was clean. TV didn't work properly in the room, but I think this was more down to the weather conditions (4in snow) rather then a fault.

Very comfortable with a good breakfast, staff very friendly and helpful.

Dingey breakfast room.quarter full jar of jam for all guests and no marmalade.Dated decor in bedroom.

The rooms was clean and well stocked with tea and coffee. The staff was friendly and the breakfast was good with choices of cereals or a cooked breakfast. The bar food was very nice and filling

I had room 2 but unfortunatly the window was by the main entrance and smokers smoke seeped through i had to change rooms. The bed wasnt comfortable but that was down to my personnel taste

The staff were all friendly and very helpful, meal portions very generous, and hotel grounds well kept with lots of animals to entertain you.

Toilet badly stained, some cutlery not clean and tables left with dirty dishes on, even after diners had left (breakfast) coffee only lukewarm.

Convenient location for our event, value for money. Rooms were warm, there was plenty of hot water.

the rooms haven't been updated since the eighties Carpets were stained and threadbare Furniture was falling to bits T.v. had a lot of background noise

The room they put us in was disgusting and dirty even the phone was dirty asked to move so they put us in a recently decorated room where the toilet was dirty . the seat was broken and taped up which was the perfect breeding ground for germs . after paying 45pounds for it I think we deserve our money back . the breakfast was cold and dried up .we would have moved to another hotel but it was late and raining really bad .

The heating within the room was on full and could not turn the radiator down or off which made the room very uncomfortable.

Not a lot - the food in the resturant was ok

It wasn't anything like the picture on the website. I was expecting to stay in an interesting and luxurious venue but I ended up in the grotty lodge which was really disappointing. The internet connection was free, but I had to keep reconnecting to get a signal which was really frustrating.

Good locationj for nice restaurants, golf, motorway.

Badly in need of refurbishment.

Relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff

No hand soap in bathroom, but was soon sorted by staff.

Food was good

Very dated, very dirty, very northern and grim

The room altough warm was dirty, the shower filled the shower tray withing 2 minutes of running and had to be turned of to allow the water to drian. The WiFi worked well in the main building but not in the room, this was reported but without any change.
