Artist Residence

In the heart of Brighton, looking out across to the iconic West Pier, this tall, elegant Regency town house boasts free Wi-Fi, individually decorated rooms and quirky original artwork.

The carefully preserved, Grade II listed building features 6 comfortable bedrooms, most of which have views of the West Pier. Rooms are individually decorated in a bohemian and eclectic style, perhaps not to everyone’s taste. Those with a sense of adventure will find the weird and wonderful style quirky, charming and fascinating. All of the rooms are en suite and decorated with colourful and contemporary fabrics and furnishings. Each room has a flat-screen TV, a hairdryer and tea/coffee making facilities.

The interior is ever changing, as artists come and go, drawing on doors and walls as they please. Traditional, conceptual and sometimes absurd artwork is combined to create a unique environment.

The on-site gallery is a non-profit organization run by young local artists.

Brighton is a lively town day or night. Take a stroll along the seafront to discover the cafès and bars, or head along the pier to enjoy traditional seaside fun, including fairground rides and clairvoyants.

During your stay you can indulge in a spot of shopping. Brighton is famous for its individual shops with unknown designers and quirky interior boutiques. You can also find all the usual High Street stores in Churchill Square and Western Road.

Excellent transport links near the hotel take you all round the city.

Travel information

By Car:
- Take the A23.
- Exit following the signs towards Brighton town centre.
- Upon reaching the roundabout by The Brighton Pier, take the third exit heading west along the seafront on the Kings Road.
- Directly opposite The West Pier is Regency Square. The Artist Residence is situated at the top of the square with a purple door. The square is well sign posted from the seafront - please follow signs for NCP car park.

By Train:
The residence is a 15 minute walk from Brighton station.
