It was a very pleasant stay. All the staff were very polite, helpful and friendly. I had hurt my back and they often asked me how I was. A small point but shows they notice their customers. I am going back.
Clean hotel and very helpful staff, located opposite station, ask for rear room for bit of extra peace, good value with breakfast included and handy bar next to reception.
Great location, with good food next door.
Wifi didn't work.
The location was excellent. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
The room was extremely small. I also would have expected to have wifi access.
Perfect for what we needed. We were at the Oktoberfest!
Price of breakfast!
Shower head difficult to control ended up spraying water all over the bathroom soaking the towels floor walls.
The location was just opposite the Grand Central hotel and station.
Very little room with no space to move about. No option for keeping your towels, which i like to do for the environment. No option for having a fridge in the room (and no room i suppose...). Breakfast was continental/English, but no fresh fruit or low-fat options.
Friendly Helpfull Staff. Vey helpful with the bedroom move we just packed everything up and they moved everything for us once our new room was ready. Bar area was nice.
Bedrooms and bathrooms looked very tired. Had a few issues with our room on the first night, we had a power cut and a very drunken noisy guest in the next room. Had bedroom move the next morning. Would have been nice to have been offered a complimentary breakfast one morning to compensate all the hassle we had had.
The staff were very friendly. Breakfast was average. Good value. Large fluffy towels. The hot bath.
The cheapo flatpack furniture in the room with drawers broken. No toiletries provided. The smell of curry at breakfast time.
The room was very cold I couldnt sleep well it was that really cold..the elevator takes ages..the duvey was dirty (washed but..stilk dirty..)didnt worth the money at all, I wouldnt recommend this hotel to anyone
Location Staff Facilities Quiet room
Coming out of the lift in the morning, not acknowledged by the staff on the desk
The food in the restaurant next door but associated with the hotel was excellent. Location of the hotel was perfect for an overnight stay between journeys.
Location Price Friendly staff
Single room rather small
Location - across the road from Glasgow Central, short walks to the Subway and to bus stops for many different routes Very friendly and helpful staff
Room needed a new bed, a thicker duvet and a thorough clean
Location was excellent and the staff were very friendly and helpful
room slightly cramped. No towels in the room when we arrived.
Good breakfast and really nice service, which compensated to the wheelchair unfriendly environment!
Very uncomfortable beds.
Location, most staff
Poor tiling in bathroom. Breakfast was a joke, the one person serving was overwhelmed when 8 people turned up at the same time. Fried breakfast badly cooked. Owners' friends hogging the bar and laughing very loudly
Great location central to everything. Staff very pleasant.
This is a case where it is owner/management issues whereby the staff did there best to make due the poor facilities. For example, there is no Wifi in rooms and didn't work in the lobby either. Front desk clerk did her best to try and fix it. In this day and age not to have adequate WiFi? Had to go out and find my own. The bed was horrible, like sleeping on bed coils from the box spring; not sure was even a mattress. And poor bed linens, pillows and blanket. Is it really worth the owner and management to be skipping on these things in the era of online reviews?
indian restaraunt was lovely as was bar area.
the room was to the front and was really noisy never got much sleep with traffic and street noice.
Warmly greeted by manager and explained in detail the accommodations. Given the area restaurant locations and advised on looking at the menues before going in
Location nice pubs nearby the staff in hotel were very friendly
Waited an hour on Saturday for cooked breakfast didn't get a cooked breakfast Sunday no chef.got £10 each refund had to ask for it waitress full of apologies we were disappointed.
Restraunt and access to train station
Staff where great rooms were nice. Had a nice smoking terrace and close to town. Better than any hotel I've stayed in Glasgow
