Good central location with free car parking.
Conservatory (Brasserie) was chilly both mornings and evenings; not allowed to move to eat in Bar area
The included continental breakfast is very basic so that they can up-sell the full English.
Lovely spacious room with large bay overlooking the river.
Location is excellent. Short walking distance through park to centre. Hotel has its own parking lot (free), which is a plus in Cambridge.
Single rooms rather small. Maybe a little overpriced, but due to the location this is to be expected.
The location was excellent.
The room was tiny. The bathroom smelled badly of drains. There were brown splashes on the woodwork near the toilet. the continental breakfast was meagre.
Very good location 10 mins walk to the Town Centre, along the river. The restaurant at the hotel very good. Lovely staff at the restaurant and on reception.
The breakfast was very basic. Staff at breakfast not very cheerful.
No lift & kitchen fans starting @ 6.30 am
Friendly & helpful staff. Location.
The ambience of the hotel, the very pleasant and helpful staff , the facilities for disabled and the proximity to the city centre. If in the area will definately stay again.
The facilities in the main hotel.
The bedroom in the annex was dark and small. The onsuite was also very small.
Room was very comfortable service was good breakfast staff excellent. Would recommend and would stay again.
Small problem with shower plug slightly blocked with hair and water filled the base and took a while to drain
It was cosy and handy for the town.
We didn't realise we had to pay extra for a cooked breakfast. The hotel was a bit too warm for our liking as the weather had turned mild.
The size of my room was good and being at the back of the hotel was excellent
I was in Room 227 which was sold as a Superior Single Room. So I was disgusted that the shower had mould and there was no dish/little shelf for soap and shampoo. Not what I expected and I would not stay again.
Food good when eventually it arrived.
Service appallingly slow. First course - a 30 minute wait. 20 minutes for a cold pudding to arrive!
The staff were helpful and friendly. The location is convenient, without being in the middle of town. There is good off-road parking.
The rooms at the back are noisy: thin walls, banging doors, etc. In addition a group somewhere in the building was making noise for much of the night. Another guest asked them to keep the noise down; which they did, but only for a few minutes. At least one of the staff was aware, but nothing was done abut it. The noise went on for several hours. That was a shame, because for all other reasons we liked the hotel and will go back again.
Being not in main hotel with view of the carpark, coachhouse it is not barn maybe like a youth hostel accomodation. No lift for 1st floor room
Hotel food was excellent, staff pleasant and location fab
Room was situated in an annex building and as a result cold during the night. Prior knowledge of the annex would have affected our choice of venue
Helpful staff Very clean Comfortable Nice view over river & Jesus Green Food Breakfast
Nothing - no complaints at all!
location close to the city center
Very basic breakfast, you have to pay extra for eggs... Long queue waiting for breakfast
Dining options were excellent.
Location, cleanliness and friendly staff.
Wanted to start breakfas at 6:30 or 7:00 at the latest.
Breakfast not all that good
Cozy hotel. Nice staff. OK breakfast. Close to Churchill college. Nice surroundings.
Somewhat small room with a tiny window
Very friendly staff, good restaurant, quiet rooms.
