The situation: very close to the city centre and the colleges + in front of Jesus Green, which is both a relaxing and lovely place. The reasonably good continental breakfast (fresh fruit salad and cheese) though harm or a m eat option would be welcome. Nice conservatory and bar area. Rather good restaurant. Good wifi. Having to climb so many stairs. Musak in the restaurant. Noise of an air (?) extractor well into the night (very ennioying).

The staff were excellent both friendly and efficient. Location was excellent for the purpose of by visit. Single bed As this is a 3 star hotel all single rooms should have a double bed. Both the bedroom & bathroom need upgrading, decor very tired, there was mold in the shower.

Hotel was nice, room was comfortable. Location was great for walking to the city centre Significant problems with the Internet connection. iPad and iPhone could not connect. My laptop connected to a weak signal and dropped several times. There may have been a router down for my part of the hotel, but they didn't address that late in the evening (23h00).

Well located for the city and motorway but far enough away to be quiet. Staff are very friendly and very helpful, nothing seems to be too much trouble. The hotel is opposite the river Cam but the photographs are a little deceptive as there is a main road between the two!

We had a front bay window with fabulous view of Jesus Green. Ideal location for centre. My husband likes a cooked breakfast when we are away. GHe did not have one as the supplement was quite expensive.

The bedroom was of a very good size; the room was front facing - overlooking the parks and the river; plenty of good free parking; great location to access Cambridge Centre (a few minutes walk) and also very easy to get to from the M11. Slight issue with having carpet in the bathroom. Considering cost of room (£105 per night), it would have been nice to have the full English breakfast included in price instead of just the continental breakfast.

I like the close proximity to the city, and also the friendliness of the staff. The room was a huge let down, for the money i'd spent. It was noisy, loud and incredibly small - tiny actually. I've worked on cruise ships which have had bigger cabins/beds/showers.

it was in a good location and included parking. the 'double' bed was tiny and we couldn't sleep in it for fear of falling out when turning. it was not a full sized double bed but maybe a 4foot. the breakfast included did not reflect the price paid, a full English breakfast should have been included to make the hotel comparable with others. the room was dirty and really hot.

The location is attractive and very convenient for the city centre/uni. Plenty of parking. Excellent shower. Quiet top-floor room. Clean. The hotel is quite old fashioned and a bit tired in places, but this could pass for Victorian charm, I suppose. However, carpet in a hotel bathroom is never a good thing.

We enjoyed our stay at the Arundel House Hotel very much. Our room and furnishings in the Coach House were excellent and very comfortable, however if we come to Cambridge again in the future we would love to have one of the rooms in the main house which look amazing in the photos. We are returning to Australia with some very happy memories of our first visit to Cambridge. Just a little disappointed that we didn't have a room in the house but as our booking was a last minute booking this was understandable. Our first impression going into the Coach House with the very narrow corridor was so disappointing but I have to say room 515 was fine and beautifully furnished.

Staff service was much improved Breakfast has been downgraded. Cheese only is not good enough. There should be at least one meat option to go with a continental breakfast. Security system is good but is not really user friendly. Cards need reprogramming too frequently.
