Wonderful location just across Jesus Green from the town centre. Lovely breakfast. Good value when you factor in the parking, which is free, so effectively wipes about £30 a day off your bill.

The staff were welcoming in the restaurants and often at the front desk. The surroundings are pretty, and the proximity to Cambridge excellent and walkable. Breakfast was excellent, too. The rooms are too small and cramped for the price. There is too much furniture for the size of the room.

Close to centre of Cambridge We were in the coach house which had a strong smell that I couldn't really describe but to say that it would be annoying if you had to stay there all day. Not what I expected when seeing the picture of the hotel (books and covers thing).

A comfortable, clean hotel within walking distance to the city centre and close to the bus stop for the hop-on hop-off and local buses. They kept our bag while we went out for the day and we were able to sit in the comfortable lounge on our return and revive with a coffee. Couldn't fault them.

Excellent location only 5 minutes from Cambridge city centre and opposite the river. Very clean facilities, good, reasonably priced food in restaurant/bar good parking facilities. Staff friendly and helpful. Well priced (at discount) for location and facilities. At busy time during breakfast, were seated then forgotten by staff. (This didn't appear to be general, we were just unlucky!)

The breakfast suited me perfectly and was in a splendid room. The "conservatory" and garden behind it looked lovely too. The location is superb, and architecturally, it is a lovely building. It simply was ideal for my purposes.

Continental breakfast, which is included with the reservations, was good and unlimited. The location on the limit of the town (i.e. very close to Cambridge center) and opposite a park was practical and beautiful. Bus lines stop in the avenue in front of the hotel. It was expensive, although everything in Cambridge is. For a cooked breakfast you had to pay an extra 8 pounds. The staff was not friendly, but rather dry. Poor wifi connection. On weekends the heavier traffic in Chesterton Road just in front of the hotel can make sleep difficult.

Excellent and attractive location, on riverside, opposite Jesus Green; superb free parking facilities, like gold-dust in Cambridge; garden area with tables, very pleasant for evening drinks.

The bar area was dedicated to relaxing with a drink (no food). Quite a change from the norm, to their credit. Lite bites/lunches and lighter evening meals served all day in relaxing conservatory. Main restaurant excellent. with a Nothing
