Hotel staff was friendly pictures in their website is not even close to reality. There´s no restaurant. Hotel rooms are clean but old fashioned and seems like everything is bought as cheap as possible. Stairs are filthy, handrails are broken. In the other section of the hotel there´s no elevator and our room was in 4th floor and climbing those stairs was hard even though our physical shape is not bad!We had no hot water for 3 days, they promised to fix it but nothing was done. No water pressure even to mention, and as I have read other stories from that hotel similar incidents have happened earlier to others as well (no hot water - > nobody fixed the shower even promised). In the room there´s a phone but no phone number to reception

An absolute dump. I have never written a negative comment about any hotel I have stayed in but this place is the pits. The room was dirty, the linen basic, shower terrible, room cold, staff so unfriendly and rude bar the girl that I checked in with, tv didnt work properly, remote control broken and a bed that was like a fold up bed that is no good for your back. A total dump and overpriced. The only good thing is the ease of access to Padington Station. Then I was a few mins late coming back to the hotel to check out and they had my bag packed and put into the breakfast room which is another dump. They had some cheek to go at my stuff.

The reviews made me terrified but was much better than expected. Basic and a bit dated but clean and had all the essentials. Fantastic location for Tube etc and lots of shops etc nearby. Rooms look a bit tired. Is a basic hotel but for the price paid it could be a lot worse!

The location was great for easy access to Paddington Station and less than 10 minutes walk to Kensington Gardens and Hyde Park. This is a 1* hotel pretending to be a 3* - the decor was really shabby, the shower mixer tap came off in my hand and then I couldnt turn off the water, there was an ancient portable tv in the room but no remote control so that was useless, the breakfast facilities were worse than anywhere I have ever been, every single mug provided was chipped, lots. For us I viewed it as a bed for 2 nights whilst we went to London for the Royal Wedding but I could not recommend this place to anyone I'm afraid.

Excellent location, 5 min walk to Paddington station and Hyde Park. Rooms very close to each other, we could hear absolutely everything that was going on next door. Staff did not have the confidence to deal with complaints about other guests.

Nothing ,You should pay me back the same amount for traumatizing me whit that place !! I wouldn't let my dog to stay there. Breakfast was extremely poor- some toast and cheese( without ham ! ) + some cooked eggs. Please , don't go there . It nothing like on the pictures !! It a hole. I don't know how can you even give that kind of room on market- I stayed in 105 - which is room for single person .It' s one ex pantry.Carpet was extra dirty and there was a radiator which probably was never cleaned .Door between "room " and WC didn't' exists and all night were noise because of rotten WC .

The coffee at breakfast was very nice once the kettle had boiled for some hot water. We have travelled a lot and stayed in a lot of hotels, this was the worst hotel we have ever encountered. The appearance of the entrance was very run down. The stairs leading to the bedroom were unstable. The room itself was very run down and the bathroom plumbing did not function well. The blinds did not fit the window so didn't close fully. Breakfast arrangements were chaotic and cramped.

I did not like a thing about this hotel! Very dirty! No hot water in room! I even had no curtains and a drill in my room! I really don't have anything possitive to say about this hotel it was totally unacceptable. I think every hotel should present you with a clean room and hot water, and curtains, which this room did not have any!

The bedding was clean. The room was in need of some attention, but it looks as if the hotel is going through an upgrade, they just haven't got to the 5th floor yet.

This hotel is right near to Paddington train station and really handy for the city. You get what you pay for here. If you want luxury then you need to pay luxury prices. at £35 for my room it was good for the price. The shower was tiny and I couldn't keep my hair dry. The shower leaked into the bedroom. This was only a minor irritation, it made me laugh really, and they provided an extra towel to mop up the water.

The best thing about staying here was that it is close to Paddington station and there was a very nice kebab shop nearby. My room was freezing and the radiator barely gave out any heat, the staff said they would send a maintenance man up to my room but there was no improvement. Also the water pressure on the shower was so poor that on the second morning of my stay it wasn't worth the effort to even try to shower because it would not have been possible to wash my hair because the water was barely warm and the pressure was so low, the previous day I was freezing throughout the time I was trying to shower. Overall I didn't think this hotel was good value for money.

The location I just started complaining yet I found there is a word limit so couldnt fit all my disgusts in, yet here are a few. Rotting wood everywhere, holes in the walls stuffed with toilet paper, broken shower and toilet, the room stank and the lift didnt reach our room level. After complaining it took two days for the bathroom issues to be addressed, the rest never were. I was tossing up between this place and a hostel... please for the love of god, go with the hostel. I would rather hang myself with my own intestines than stay here again

The hotel staff was very helpful and kind. The location was excellent as well for a tourist who want to see London. The only thing is that the room was a bit small for 4 persons; although it was good enough.
