Nothing at all I have stayed in some dumps in my life but none as expensive as this one as I write this I am in the Rydges Plaza Dubai for the same amount. I askeed the reception who was called Ahmed if I could have a wake up call to catch my flight and was told that the equipment was broken and they are too busy at 8 am to call anyone also ther was no hot water and I complained and the same night receptionist told me I could do whatever i liked but it was not his fault. At breakfast when I was sent next door it was closed and the girl arrived late. However the day recptionist was very appologetic and took me to another cafe where they gave me breakfast. You should not include this hotel as it reflects on your quality of service as well. |

The location was great as it was within a stone's throw of Paddington Station. When I told the hotel staff that I couldn't use the shower it was fixed that day. The place was quite run down and the breakfast area was too small for the number of people having breakfast. |

The bed was good and location was good The staff was not friendly or service minded. My bed was not made up upon arrival. I got sheets and had to make bed myself! In the morning when I returned the key the only thing I got was a headnot telling me where to put the key. No thanks or byebye. The hotel itself is fair priced, but the staff friendlyness was far below standard. I'm not saying this because I want to get them down, I hope they act upon this, because when they get this sorted then it would be a pleasent stay. |

The lift as it is so antiquated and is in dire need of being replaced it takes forever to reach one floor and that's after waiting for over fifteen minutes as it bypasses the Reception and goes straight to the Basement everytime and nothing anyone can do about it. |

Too less space in a room. Beds occupied almost all floor space. No place to sit except beds. On booking.com was information that additional bed could be added for £15. However if I had to use this option it would be completely impossible because of the lack of space!!! |

The en-suite bathroom was good. The room was on the 4th floor with no lift and a very narrow staircase, there was hardly room to open your suitcase in the room it was so cramped and the wireless internet didn't work. |

clean and Ok hotel for a ok price - nothing extra but you get what you pay for... A bit more finish (whole furniture, a bit more concern about the breakfast room etc) and the hotel would be more than ok. |

The hotel location was very suitable for my purposes.Despite the fact that my visit to London was first at my life it was very easy to find the hotel. It was not cold water in wash-hand-stand. It was not possible to have a breakfast before 7 am. So one of my breakfasts was not available for me. It was also impossible to compensate it by money. My room was in area of very weak Wi-Fi signal, so using of Internet was almost impossible. |

The hotel was located close to Paddington tube station as well as local restaurants. Service at the hotel was terrible, expect to be ignored while staff chat with each other/on their mobile phone. When I arrived maintenance involving drilling and hammering was being performed on the floor on which I was situated - I was neither informed of this by reception nor offered another room. Tea making facilities are provided however there is no fridge! |

The main attraction was proximity to Paddington Station and availability of satisfactory eating places close to the hotel. Cramped room, and not so satisfactory breakfast facilities. |

Scruffy room, no hot water, no plug in sink, cracked cup and glass, no wallpaper on walls, breakfast room in dark basement, some people had to eat standing up. |

Not a lot - it was a bed for the night, nothing more. The location was convenient though. The staff were dismissive rather than welcoming, the decor was a disgrace - the paintwork was yellowed and scruffy, the carpets dreadful on my floor at least (albeit some had been recently replaced elsewhere), the bathroom was dirty and I didn't even use the breakfast facility because the standard of the room put me off other facilities. |

Friendly staff, clean linen, good breakfast, internet available Gave up waiting for the lift even though my room was on the top floor. Shower did not work on arrival and took 36 hours to fix after repeated reminders and the hotel would not provide a plug for the bath in the meantime. Broken springs in the mattress. |

This hotel has an amazing location with three different tube lines running just down the road... literally the tube can be seen outside the window.. This hotel is very very basic.... do not expect anything other than a cheap hotel.. however the location cannot be beaten.. for the money and location you should expect to compensate on the hotel itself. |

Good location near tube. That what pics tell to u about this hotel and reality what that isnt same. That hotel it is not *** hotel, i think one star is too much for this hotel. That what internet promises and truth is two different stories. I travel a lot around europe and that hotel is defenetly the worst where i been. |

The location of the hotel as central to transport links and places of interest Reception staff appeared to be disinterested in their guests and at times came across as being rude. The room was small and the bathroom had chipped wall/floor tiles, chipped bath and similiar to the room looked extremely grubby. Breakfast was a disaster, when we arrived in the "dining room", which was in the basement, we were met with other guests eating their breakfast whilst standing and others sitting around a pool table, on bar stools, eating theirs - unfortunately we did not stay around to taste the food provided as decided to eat out every morning!! |

We chose the hotel because it was close to Paddington Station. It was very convenient and there were good restaurants and shops nearby. The room was very run down but not nearly so badly as the bar and breakfast areas, which were dreadful. The decor in the breakfast room would be better in a bordello. |
