yhdenhengen huone todella pieni . yksi vessa /suihku käytävällä noin 10 huonetta kohti kallis hintalaatusuhde

erinomainen sijainti, kelvollinen hinta-laatusuhde.Huone perustasoa, tilavampi kuin odotimme. Huone pihan puolella joten ei hälyääniä.Ystävällinen hlökunta.

aamupala oli erittäin niukka, oli tosin perustarpeet eli paahtoleipä,munaa,leikkelettä kahta laatua,kahvia/teetä ja mehua.

Hotellin halpa hinta näkyy tasossa. Lattiat oli vinossa, lämmintä vettä tuli miten tuli, hotelli on ahdas ja tunkkainen, huoneissa toimi vaihetelevasti luvatut varusteet. Kuitenkin yöpaikkana ihan kohtuullinen hotelli. Plussaa oli sijainti metroaseman vieressä.

Toivoimme vierekkäisiä huoneita ja varaukset tehtiin hyvissä ajoin, toivetta ei oltu otettu huomioon, huoneet olivat jopa eri kerroksissa. Huoneissa piti olla parivuoteet, sekään ei pitänyt paikkaansa.

When I left.

The rooms were tiny - my friend who also stayed had a kitchen unit with oven and washing machine and kitchen cabinets in her room, they were flush against her bed and she couldn't move around the room as it was so small. I had to move the bed to shut the toilet door when I used the bathroom. The bathroom was obviously refurbished which was lovely except the shower was blocked after first use so the plumber had to come and unblock it. The sheets and towels had black scuff stains on them so they obviously weren't cleaned properly, also the towels smelt very strongly of chemicals. No fan or air con which for the price was fair enough except my room backed onto Craven road and it was so noisy I had to buy ear plugs as I got no sleep the first night but there was no way I was sleeping with window closed it was so hot. A normal fan would have made a huge difference and improved the situation greatly. The TV was a lovely modern LCD flat screen, unfortunately even though it had Freeview I could only get 2 channels to work (perhaps they could have sold the TV and brought an electric fan).

The ease of registration and efficiency of the reception staff together with their explanation of the facilities available.

Some form of air conditioning would have been appreciated in the circumstances concerning the weather.

The convenience of the location is the main draw of Ascot Hyde Park Hotel. The room though small and old was quite clean.

It was very noisy (a price to pay for the convenience) but the shower head that didn't quite work properly was more frustrating. I have stayed at other Ascot group hotels both in and out of London and I must say the Ascot Hyde Park Hotel didn't quite match up with the standards.

One word sums up this place - DINGY

On one of the reviews it said that wi-fi only worked on the ground floor and the basement so I e-mailed a week before to check this out - I was reassured that wi fi worked on every floor - NOT TRUE - it only works on the ground floor and the awful dungeon of a basement where they serve breakfast.

The Hairdryer was not working and when I booked I asked if I could have breakfast a bit earlier and never had a reply.
