The location is ok
The room was dirty, there were bugs in the bed. The staff was unfriendly. We will never return to this hotel. Please don't go there.
easy to access. traffic. price is rather OK. room size is OK. I am luck to get a big window room. my clean lady is very nice.
they want me to pay cash, otherwise want me to pay 3% extra. some employee in the reception is bad in attitude. water is small. There is no real "facility". they just put rooms together and rent it out.
the room was spacious and comfortable ,the television was small but ok
the misleading about the bar and no telephone
Convenient to Paddington Station.
Not the most inspiring hotel
When we got there we was greeted by the staff on reception who was friendly and welcoming. We was in a very nice room on the fifth floor. The lift only went up to the fourth floor but there wasn't many steps to get up to the fifth floor. My partner who is blind managed it very well and didn't bother him. Breakfast was good for five pounds you do get a lot including continental and fried choice of many drinks hot or cold. They don't serve a main meal but they do give you a 20% of card for the restaurant next door. Which was excellent the food was amazing
There wasn't anything me or my partner didn't like
stylishly simple rooms
basic add ons like wi fi and baggage storage were priced add ons kike breakfasti
Location is great, right in the heart of Paddington. Room was fine, small but clean and all the necessary facilities were there. For the price paid its good value but don't expect The Ritz for £30 a night.
Staff are all so unfriendly, barely a word uttered at check in, just a few grunts and a gesture towards the stairs. Note to Ascot staff/manager - just a polite smile and "enjoy your stay sir" or something similar makes a massive difference.
- spacious room - modern bathroom with a good shower - great location - plenty of hot drink facilities
- Staff attitude was a bit dry - lots of noise from neighbors and water pipes early morning - member of staff opened our room door at 9:30am when we were still in bed (checkout at 11am)
Location close to pubs shops etc. cafe next door very cheap quality food and excellent service.
The staff had no manners what so ever, not even a hello or thank you. When we checked out not even a hope you enjoyed your stay. The tv didn't work and there were big holes in the wall and the bathroom was shabby.
Room was in good condition.
I didn't like racist behavior of management, noise of elevator woke me up couple of times every night.
the staff were awful, the room we were given was on the fifth floor but the lift only went to the forth so had to lug casses up two flights of stairs. the beds were uncomfortable and we were next to the lift shaft, every time the lift was used we heard it all through the night . somebody used the lift as a toilet, i reported it to the desk and he just shrugged his shoulders, in all it was the worst hotel we have ever stayed in . I wouldent recomend to anyone
we booked an apartment and we got a room, I was told the apartment leaked so have this suite instead!! Breakfast never seen a room like it, not good, quality of the breakfast POOR.
Fantastic location and very clean;
1) heating system not working properly; 2) bad isolations (noise cancel) 3) bad relationship quality vs money cost;
Honestly nothing considering they charge £239 pounds a night.
The bed, the wafer thin pillows the cold. The dust. I could go on.
Poor services, the staff in that is so rude!! NEVER STAY AGAIN
Value for money and very good location.
The fact that I had a room and had it cancelled (thanks booking.com) and got scalped to the tune of 185 pounds because London was 98% booked.
It's a cheap dive hotel but safe both inside and out.
Not very clean. Beds resemble camp beds.
Good location, friendly staff and no fuss hotel.
Can be a bit loud from outside at times.
Location was good near Paddington station Rooms Where Clean Breakfast Was ok
As a disabled guest we where put on the top floor of the hotel the lift went to floor 4 we where on floor 5 staff need to work on there customer service in the morning we where going back to our room from breakfast in the basement the staff where using the lift and we where told we would have to wait and they found this funny
Lots of noise, i couldnt sleep at all, the elevator kept making sounds all night
The location and the shower!!
The kitchen staff
The water was too hot or too cold and running really poor!
