Score from 1580 reviews Good
That its near everything and the workers in the hotel would help you if needed.
In house phone systems not working, room doors needs maintenance.
A good location but with better refurbished facilities, this place will do good
price & location
clutter blocking door, obvious fire hazard.
Location was OK, hotel OK, more like a b&b
I don't like the fact that you cannot your guest in your room
I love the Location of the hotel and also the neatness
Better spend a bit more and stay in a 4 star hotel. Not value for money
Took my card on booking and seemed to be writing down my number of my card????will keep regular check of my account just in case
Not bad value
Do not pay for wifi. I could connect to the router but could not get on internet. Just walk across the street and you can use the free HSBC wifi.
Location and price is definitely unbeatable.
Didn't know it had WIFI.
Really lovely room
the room is very small, especially the bathroom (which doesn't have windows nor fan) and quite cold, we asked to turn the heater on but to not avail . beds are not so comfortable. 7 pounds per hour for the wifi. you can hear the tube noise. position is central and london is expensive but for that price in paddington I woouldn't come back
the position. they provided us with a plugue converter and a hair drier
Charge for internet.
Had an elevator, room with queen bed, french doors, desk, clothes hanging area. Newly redone bathroom. Was not able to judge breakfast as I was only there one day and had to leave before 5AM. Most reviews are made by folks who only stay in one hotel. I was forced to change hotels during my stay because the original had no vacancies for my last night. This hotel was cheaper than the original hotel and substantially better.
Not very helpfull stuff, no blow dryer. - we asked for a blow dryer, we were told that they would try to find one(we got it the next night) and we had to wait for our hair to dry on their own
Good location, nice room
I paid 35.00 for a single room although was given a triple room. Its true the beds are camp style beds but they are clean and comfortable. The bathroom was very modern and it is in an amazing location. I think for the price it was very good. Just dont expect the hilton quality when you dont want to pay the hilton prices.
I booked a single room in the hotel. Upon check-in I was told that these were all full, so I was being upgraded to a 3-person flat in an adjacent building. It was, without a doubt, the lousiest place I have ever slept in. There was graffiti on the walls, everything including the wardrobe was broken, it was freezing, and there was even a tiny, square toilet seat on the large, oval WC. Lack of double glazing meant that I also barely slept due to traffic noise.
The location, close to Paddington, was ideal for my meeting early the next day.
On my first checkin on 21Feb stay, they confirmed an early checkin. But the room wasn't ready. Had to wait 2 hours. On the same date, I was charged 3pounds extra for paying by card!
I didn't like paying £5 for wifi though I knew it beforehand. Can't really complain.
Clean, safe and good location.Good value for money.
Location and value for money
It was a bit small and had no wifi
We really liked paddington so the hotel was nice located. I was easy to walk to the city and easy to take the sub as well. The staff helped us with taxi and everything we asked for.
staff is not helpful at all - worst customer service ever. access to the internet is unreasonably expensive. you can hear all the noises coming from the corridors and the rooms next to you. you will not get given any of the things/facilities you ask for - even if it the simplest things and even if it states in the room description that they are provided. Not coming back - would rather pay more and at least feel a bit more welcomed and looked after
location is convenient - choose ONLY if you literally want to go in the room for a few hours' sleep and then get out
Our room was next to elevator which made a loud noise :( Wasn't that nice when you try to sleep
Nice people, nice hotel...
Big room, good value, comfortable bed
Stuff totally unfriendly. They gave me the wrong key I had to go again downstairs (5 floors) to get the right one and he didn't even say sorry.
New bathroom, good size room
Dirty room, hairs in bathroom, noisy elevator. I had a room where it was 3 beds. Hardly even to move around. Rooms need re-decorating. Cracks in the wall. Staff bored. Paid wifi?!?! This place should be called a hostel rather a hotel.
Only location also in a room hundreds of bags of Tea. If someone really enjoy the drinking the Tea that's the best to go.
Misunderstanding about free wifi provision as agree upon with attending staff and new staff who did know the agreed arrangements
