Friendly service, good value for location, ok breakfast for price.
There was noise all might long, phones ringing ver loudly in the middle of the night, doors banging and people being loud on the stairs. Maybe staff could ask patrons to keep the noise levels down, and turn the ringer down on the house phone. Byo own shampoo and conditioner.
The staff were very helpful and welcoming. The room was excellent. Great value for money.
Being family run hotel makes contacts and requests for information easy. The Breakfast is value for money. Request for Taxi is perfect. The hotel is value for money!
Early morning check out by other guests is a bit noisy.
Food good, the bed was really comfortable and room was clean.
Nothing to complain about
Location. Fair comfort.
Breakfast not included. Insufficient staffing.
Breakfast was very nice and reasonably priced, just served too early. room was comfortable and hotel location was ideal.
Times for breakfast.
Good sized room, clean & comfortable. Wi-Fi signal excellent
Really quiet spot with easy access to city centre. Staff member we met was both friendly and helpful.
Obviously, we didn't expect miracles at this price level in Leeds - the decor was not amazing - but it was perfectly acceptable.
Breakfast Staff were friendly & helpful. The Room was tidy & warm & spacious. Bathroom facilities were good.
Location and availability of car parking
Reception staff smelt strongly of alcohol on arrival. Hotel smelt of stale smoke and was generally musty. Tired shabby decor. Outdated bathroom facilities. Thinned duvet and worn mattress and bedding. Can't comment on the breakfast as didn't bother staying.
Location; simple but good breakfast; good room with space.
Smokers under the window!
Location close to bars, restaurant & ring road
Guest leaving kid in room overnight-causing disturbance
Very clean, spacious room. Close to amenities Good wifi Excellent shower
Location. Free WiFi
No lift. Breakfast finishes too early
Very hard uncomfortable pillows
Hotel is in an excellent location, 25 minute bus journey from City Bus Station and is on the road the bus travels on. We arrived extremely early, at 5.30am, and got to the hotel at 8.30am. We called in advance and were told we would be able to use the lounge area and bathroom to get ready and our luggage could be stored until our check in time of 1pm. However, upon our arrival, the last guests had left the room and the extremely kind gentleman at reception allowed us to check in to the room to get ready for the festival. We were extremely grateful for this as we were all exhausted and had travelled overnight from Glasgow. Although the cleaner hadn't yet reached the room, it was already tidy and clean and we were given clean towels to use to get ready. We were given the family room due to the size of our group. The room was absolutely huge, with one double bed, three single beds and a large amount of floor space. Bathroom was clean and the whole place looked marvellous. Enough closet space to store all our luggage (and ourselves!) and plenty of space for four people to get ready at the same time. The kindness of the staff, the price of our stay (£80) and the location of the hotel made our stay 10 times better. We all absolutely loved it, would recommend it to anyone and our only regret is that we only stayed one night. Can't speak for the breakfast services as we slept through it, but at £5 per person, it seemed reasonably priced and the dining room looked lovely.
Absolutely no complaints. Perfect stay!
I went away with my partner and my teenage children decided at the last minute to accompany us. Our hotel was fully booked but Ascot Grange was very close and had a room available. We were very impressed when we got there, for a 2 star property it was clean and they had a nice room. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the food was good and the girls really enjoyed their stay.
There was nothing we didn't like!
Value for money. Breakfast cooked for you - not, like many hotel chains, it is waiting on a hot plate for you! Free car parking. A nice cheap bar.
It is not the same standard as the Double Tree Hilton in Leeds BUT you are paying a fraction of the cost.
We stayed at Ascot Grange Hotel for one of my daughters Graduation presentation. It was only a few minuets walk from the university so was very handy.
Ample parking, most of the time Location Reasonable quality, though dated Reasonable room rate, though there are cheaper...and better
Staff seemed disinterested, even unfriendly at times Dodgy room lock, not properly rectified, even after reported to staff Would benefit from some updating WiFi in rooms poor, and not usable
I only stay for one night, because gone to airport next morning, only 15 min drive. And got breakfast. Nice. There is bus from town to hotel, about 20 min drive. Nothing to complain. But the bus come every 15/20 min. So look the timetable. So overall is good.
I think the room the breakfast and the people good and I am going back next year
comfortable beds, large room, large bathroom,
shower hose leaked, evening meal out a packet (though cheap)
