My stay was all too short in this lovely place. The cottage and gardens were beautiful, and the owners were very friendly and accommodating. Great in every way.
Beautyful countryside Great hosts Absolutely super
Not a thing
Everything The delightful welcoming staff Fantastic location and accommodation The toiletry selection in our bathroom Amazing Bed and linen The view from our bed - wow Breakfast - still thinking about it now Homemade bread!! The list goes on .........
It rained for 10 minutes whilst there!
Everything can't wait to get back!
Rural location Staff Breakfast Room and facilities Parking Proximity to very nice pub
Friendly, efficient, very clean and a breakfast menu unsurpassed by any others we have encountered.
Breakfast was really good with a great choice - no need for lunch! Lovely touch to have cafetiere coffee in the room not just instant.
An extremely warm welcome from David when I arrived. The room was lovely, great easy to use shower. You are spoilt for choice at breakfast!! Will definately book again!
The enormous bed in our room, the best night's sleep we had all week. Superb eggs benedict for breakfast and right next door to a pub/restaurant with an excellent fresh fish menu as well as the usual fare. Incidentally, although popular, the pub is not noisy.
Fabulous breakfast choice
The breakfast was better than in a five star hotel with a wonderful choice. The bed was huge and very comfortable and the whole experience was great.
Excellent facilities in an attractive setting within in an interesting village. And the pub next door serves excellent food too! What's not to like?
Nothing to say - all good.
Breakfast - amazing variety, all superbly cooked. The room trays had the best selection I've come across in a hotel - such as teapot and cafetiere - plus little touches that made it special. Comfortable bed and the lounge for guests looked great and would be very cozy for a winter break. Very good location for easy access to Dunham Massey park.
Room was a little more compact than I was expecting, probably not an issue usually but we had quite a bit of stuff with us.
Gourmet breakfast! Great beds
Reception was a bit rushed (we arrived at 7pm)
Attention to detail, unbelievable breakfast menu, welcoming and charming hosts, fabulous room in terms of comfort and décor.
There wasn't anything to dislike.
This B&B is the idyllic peaceful place for a getaway. It isn't cheap but its certainly value for money. David, the owner is an excellent host, room 2 has the biggest bed EVER.... and the breakfast can be as small or as large as you want. I would recommend this to anyone. Excellent location for the airport and motorways. The pub next door serves excellent food, but it's not cheap...
Just the one thing, no room, except the bed to put your case to unpack.
It was a privilege to stay in such a beautiful National Trust property and I've never felt quite so relaxed in a guest house - especially on the morning before a flight! It would be lovely to go back for a longer break.
Lovely people, kind friendly and helpful. A really nice venue, in my humble opinion. Very good range of meals in the pub which is located next door, by chance I think.
There are two good Wi-fi connections. The faster of the two wouldn't allow me to connect my VPN, the other one would. Just a trifling niggle really.
Everything - lovely room, perfect location for our purpose, super breakfast.
Just the one small point that one side of the bed didn't have a bedside table, which for me with glasses, clock and drink of water was a nuisance!
Character building. Well decorated. Clean. Well run with good hosts. Great pub next door serving a good range of real ales and a decent menu.
This is the 3rd time staying at Ash Farm Country House. The location is fantastic set in the heart of Cheshire countryside near to Dunham Massey park and next to a great local country pub. Ash Farm is a characterful guest house with comfortable rooms and excellent breakfast served. The owners David and Joyce are very pleasant and the room rate was very reasonable.
A very charming, friendly town. We loved the farmhouse and the varied walks around the properties. The pubs are great!
The accommodation, location, breakfast, all were excellent - highly recommended
