On the banks of Loch Lomond in the magnificent Queen Elizabeth Forest, this hotel has spectacular views of Ben Lomond, the loch and mountains to the north. Rowardennan Hotel is accessible, yet remote....

Nice big room Friendly staff. Lovely breakfast
The facilities were of very high quality. Tommy was a great host and provided us with lots of helpful advice with our touring. Breakfast was very tasty.
The mattress comfort could have been a little bit more comfortable
Hosts, comfort of bed, tea/coffee in room
Friendly with good food good hospitality
Thank you for a lovely stay - we really enjoyed it and definitely will come back
Loved the location. Could get to Loch Lomond and into Glasgow equally easily. In evening a good selection of local eateries to choose from within walking distance. Tommy and Mhairi were excellent hosts, very friendly and helpful, very approachable.
Lack of a wardrobe - ok if on walking tour, but needed for longer stays. Also some people were inconsiderate of others and were noisy. Sound proofing was not the best.
Ground floor accommodation It was situated right on the West Highland Way which made it easy to select suitable walks Our friendly host gave us excellent service, local information with breakfast times to suit us
Right at the starting point of the Rob Roy Way this was the perfect stay for the three of us. Very friendly owners, a cosy and spotless room and a good breakfast to get us on our way.
Friendly proprietors, good location, good breakfasts, easy access and parking, near hiking trail, colorful pub and good dining nearby.
lovely place to stay.clean fresh airy room.owners very helpful and local eateries excellent.
Breakfast came with The Best black pudding ever tasted. The rooms were in an annex giving guests a real sense of privacy, and the hosts were most welcoming at the end of a long day's cycling.
The room was very clean and comfortable. The house was in the centre of Drymen and handy for the local pubs. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. Would recommend.
The cooked breakfast was a bit stingy and not very filling when we were about to continue on the West Highland Way. Not a big gripe however...
Almost everything was perfect; a really good stop on West Highland Way.
A very minor point, but my egg was overdone!
Quality breakfast. Friendly staff and good location
Tiny TV high on the wall
Having completed a 14 mile section of the West Highland Way from Rowardennan to Drymen; and having also conquered the infamous Conic Hill, Ashbank appeared like an oasis in the desert.Greeted by a lovely building, a warm welcome from the owners, and a recommendation of where to get a brilliant evening meal. The place is immaculate, beds really comfy, and we were sent off the next morning with a smile and a hearty Scottish breakfast to see us on our final leg of our journey.
Very clean, very friendly, excellent accommodation
The owners were very friendly and helpful. Everything about our stay was top-notch and comfortable.
There was nothing to dislike.
Absolutely spotless, very comfortable and the owners were very welcoming and accomodating. We really had a lovely stay and will choose Ashbank again, thankyou.
Excellent b and b,lovely hosts and a great location
Nnothing at all
The owners have a meticulous attention to detail in all aspects of their service. For example, an older review complained about WiFi and now there is high-speed WiFi in each room! Breakfast was excellent, the room was spacious and comfortable. -3oC outside but nice and warm inside. Definitely better than any hotel nearby.
Very welcoming lovely hosts clean rooms great breakfast well worth the very reasonable rates. Will definitely come again .
tv channels needed tuning in, the picture was bad on the ones that did work.
Very easy to find. Beautiful conversion so the rooms are very modern and sleek. Quiet location. Very friendly hosts.
Modern, clean, friendly hosts, great breakfast :)
I can honestly say that we have no complaints at all. We really fell on our feet when we decided to stay here !
We stayed for three nights just after new year, we were in the fortunate position of having the place to ourselces and were given the option of any room. The family who own this provided an excellent service from the breakfast offered each morning to providing information on the local area. I would certainly recommend staying here for the facilities and service provided. Thanks for an enjoyable stay.
