Good breakfast. Fine view from back window of Arran, Ailsa Craig and Kintyre coast. Very quiet area. Room a bit small. The 20 mile single track road up to Kennacraig and Tarbert took some getting used to.

We had a great stay at the Ashbank Hotel. The owner Tracy was very helpful and friendly as were all the staff. The breakfasts were great, really nicely cooked and kept us golfing all day. We never got to try dinner but we did see what others were having and it looked great. The hotel was right on a golf course, indeed our room looked over the first tee so ideal for a golf trip. Overall would definitely stay here again on our next visit to Machrihanish.

A welcoming hotel in a delightful part of Scotland, running down Kintyre. The location was great for travelling down to the Mull and around southern Argyll.

I enjoyed my stay at the ashbank hotel because of the very warm welcome and hospitaliy that were afforded to me on my arrival,also the room and food were excellent

Comme presque partout en Ecosse, les chambres sont minuscules et les prix surfaits vu l'absence de concurrence compte tenu de la rareté des logements dans beaucoup de régions. Nous espérions avoir vue sur mer mais l'hôtel n'est pas situé au bord de la mer et les chambres donnent soit sur le golf soit sur la rue (calme, il faut l'avouer).

Das Hotel wird von zwei Schwestern betrieben, wovon die eine etwas unzugänglich, die andere dafür aber umso freundlicher ist. Insgesamt fühlt man sich herzlich willkommen und nett umsorgt. Das Zimmer war sehr hell, prinzipiell eher einfach, aber mit tollem Blick über Wiesen hinaus zum Meer.

Petit hotel sympathique tout autant que le personnel chambre agreable et tres propre belle vue sur le golf sitution gographique dans le kintyre Toilettes du bar à l'etage à proximité des chambres, matelas à ressort, absence de rideaux occultant

Heerlijke ontspannen sfeer, openheid en vrolijkheid van de eigenares. Prima maaltijd en ontbijt gehad. Mooie en schone kamer met prima bedden. Ik ga er zeker nog een keer terug. De omgeving, Mull of Kintyre, is prachtig.
