This newly built guest house is situated in the market town of Penrith, a 15-minute walk from Penrith Rail Station. It has beautifully decorated bedrooms, free Wi-Fi, free parking and hearty breakfasts. At Ashberry Guest House, a full English breakfast is served in the breakfast room every morning, which has 6 individual tables. Restaurants and pubs can be found a 10-minute walk away. The bedrooms are individually decorated and each has an en suite bathroom with a power shower. A selection of teas, coffee, hot chocolate and bottled water is also provided. The Ashberry guest lounge is light and airy and has a gas fire and a flat-screen TV. There is also a radio, games, books and daily newspapers. Ashberry Guest House is less than 1 mile from Junction 40 of the M6. Castle Park is just a 10-minute walk away and it takes less than 30 minutes by car to get to the Lake District National Park. The friendly hosts, the sparkling clean room, the comfy bed, the great breakfast. Its a very short walk to the center and they gave us a great recommendation for dinner.

The room had excellent facilities.It was warm - given the chilly spring weather -and beds comfortable. The breakfast was very good - lots of choice. Good internet facilities. Convenient location both for central Penrith by foot and easy access from M6 by car. Helpful owner. Low level small wash basin (hit my forehead on glass shelf above the basin when cleaning teeth) - but it was a room for disabled which I am not.

the guest house was spotless,the staff were very friendly and the breakfast could not be faulted.free parking for the car an asset in penrith.overall a thoroughly pleasant stay.would recommend it to everyone. sat nav could not pick up the postcode.

The room was beautifully appointed, and the bathroom was excellent Breakfast was tasty and well-cooked, with high quality ingredients. The pillows were uncomfortable. The air fresheners in the halls were overpowering.
