Really enjoyable stay. Booked because of the scores on the doors, we weren't disappointed. Ashbourne is what it says, great hosts, lovely rooms, great breakfast. Very relaxing and special weekend. |

Very clean, comfortable.the staff are very friendly and accommodating.breakfast is excellent.nice decor. Tv in bedroom needs to have a bigger screen as it was difficult to watch or maybe placed in abetter location. |

Paul and Julie really made our stay special. Quality bed and breakfast and in our opinion deserving of everything that has been said over the years!! Breakfast was spot on and plentiful, room was wonderful - comfy bed and Yorkshire tea.... Will be visiting again in the new Year. |

Fabulous decor & real attention to detail in the rooms. The quality of the bedding & extra touches such as bar menu available in the room made all the difference. Excellent breakfast and a very enjoyable stay. Many thanks We had a slight problem with the shower & water tempertature- not sure the plumbing could handle multiple uses! |

Ashbourne House was an excellent stay the staff could not do enough for you. The cleanliness of the Hotel was excellent and the full english breakfast takes some beating. The walk from the hotel to the city was approximately 20 mins along the river which was a joy itself apart from the rain, If you enjoy pleasent walks and City Centre site seeing this is the place to stay. A thoroughly enjoyable weekend which we shall be repeating. |

This was a revisit as we found it excellent the first time we came, even better this time. The family who run Ashbourne are both friendly and professional and nothing is too much trouble. The breakfasts are cooked to perfection with an endless choice which set you up for the day. The rooms and surroundings are very comfortable and up to date. |

Parking and helpful attitude of owner (carried bags for ladies in the group etc). Gave good directions for getting into town etc. room a bit small and quite hot - needed to open windows , but appeared locked |

Top drawer! One of the nicest Bed and Breakfasts I have had the pleasure of staying in. Quality accommodation, people and food. Great location and an easy walk into York along the river. Parked up and forgot about everything. |
