This is the 3rd time I have stayed here, it is my favoured place to stay in Fort William. The family that run the B&B are really welcoming and you feel right at home there, accomodation and facities are comfortable and it's only a short walk from Fort William itself, with stunning view across Loch Linnhe.

Met with a very warm welcome and enjoyed great breakfasts. The rooms were extremely comfortable and I would not hesitate to recommend this B&B to anyone. the only thing I would change would be the type of duvet but that could be personal preference - would prefer a softer duvet.

It was, warm and Christine & Willie were very welcoming. It was spacious in the room, spotlessly clean and had a lovely view of the Loch. Breakfast was good and coffee was offered on arrival in the conservatory which had books and board games for use if we wanted. Umbrellas, hairdryer and binoculars were also available for customers to use free of charge. The canopy above the bed was dated and no need to have it.

The lovely warm welcome and hospitality. Small attention to details and nothing was too much trouble for the hosts. Rooms overlooking the loch were beautifully maintained and the breakfasts were superb.

The hotel was very clean and tidy with very nicely decorated rooms with all the required facilities. Very comfortable and warm, the landlord and lady were very welcoming and polite. The breakfast was great with a variety of choice. Excellent views from both room, dining room and study. Off road parking and in very close walking distance from Fort William.

We receiveed a very warm welcome on our arrival, followed by coffee and delicious shortbread in the conservatory. The room was excellent and the atmosphere very relaxed. We only stayed the one night on route to Skye, but we had a lovely breadfast before we departed the following day and we will almost certainly stay there again.

Furnishings of a very good standard but the bedroom and en suite facilities were small with the latter little bigger than a cupboard. No room for a chair so the tv had to be watched from the bed. My friend's bedroom had a very uncomfortable mattress - the Proprietor said it was relatively new but she did intend checking all the beds for herself.

Ashburn House was lovely, the owners are very friendly and helpful. Our room was extremely comfortable and although we didn't have a sea-view it didn't matter as we did have a view on to the garden. The bed was huge and very comfortable. Everything we could possibly need was provided and we would definitely stay again. Although my breakfast was great (fruit and yoghurt), my partner was slightly disappointed by his black pudding and fruit pudding on the big breakfast. It is a minor point but he did feel it wasn't up to the standard of the rest of the food and drink.

Ashburn House was easily located when we arrived. There is ample parking at the back of the house. We were met by the hostess who as friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and stylish. It overlooked the lake. The bed was comfy and the bathroom was spotless. There was no bath but it did have a large walk-in shower with plenty of hot water. The breakfast in the morning which was included with the price of the room, was superb. I have no difficulty recommending this accommodation. There are stairs but rooms on the ground floor are also available. The host and hostess are quite willing to help bring luggage upstairs if required. The room was quiet and restful. Something important to us is a good internet connection which was available here. We were not sure how we would like being in a B&B...but this one convinced me that it can be great. This is a beautiful house...perfect hosts...definitely worth every penny although we did not find it was too expensive. It is located near the town site for shopping. Another thing I liked is that the hostess was vigilante about who was coming in...it made me feel more secure about my stay. I could sense that the other guests in the house were as pleased as we were about their stay. Hmmm...let me see...yes...we were disappointed that we only had one night to spend there. Fort William is a beautiful spot and we would have liked to have had more time to explore it...and Asburn House would have been the perfect base from which to do that! Hearty thanks from Canada to these two wonderful hosts!

Christine gave us a very warm welcome with tea and recommended a good sea food restaurant. The location is nice and view from the sitting room is wonderful. Breakfast is nice. We stayed in 2 single rooms of same price but one of them is too small. Both bath rooms are tiny with poor layout and outdated facility.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Room small but very well appointed with comfortable bed and pillows. View from window was beautiful over Loch Linnhe and mountains. Nice little touches like biscuits in room , cotton buds etc. Standard of cleanliness excellent. Only 5 min walk from town centre..on the flat. Flatscreen telly with lots of channels and very good quality free wi-fi internet. 3 course Breakfast menu was just fantastic and sets you up for days activity Only small criticism is the tempremental shower....road in front of hotel is busy but quietens at night.
