Ashburton Hotel - B&B  

The owners were very friendly and welcoming to us and our 1 year-old son. The room was a reasonable size for a family, nicely decorated and very clean. The breakfast was very good, with plenty of choices and good quality foods. The location was ideal - just a 10-minute walk to the seafront and also to the town centre. We would definitely recommend the Ashburton Hotel.

The only problem was having to leave

everything at the ashburton was top the staff,the rooms were spacious,the breakfast menu was the best ive had in any hotel ive stayed so far,the choice,nothing was never too much trouble the place is tops i would always stay here if in scarborough,10/10

Excellent choice of breakfast and staff were very friendly.

Friendly welcome and our cases carried up for us. Perfect position with private parking. Breakfast at a sensible time and a good choice. Very quiet at night. Pleasant enough room with everything we needed.

A few cobwebs in the room but otherwise it was clean. would have liked to have been able to help myself to more milk etc, didn't want to disturb staff when we got in quite late. (But that's being petty; it says quite clearly you can ask for more, I just didn't want to have to ask!)

We are travelling on motorbike and were made welcome - some places are not happy to receive biker guests. Very friendly, comfortable, amazing breakfast with good atmosphere, close to beach. Typical British Hols!!

We had a lovely welcome from the owners. The room was more than adequate for the amount of time we spent in it and I loved the fact that the children had a seperate tv in their sleeping area for them to view. It was only a 10 minute walk to the lovely south beach. The breakfast was lovely; I only wished we stayed another night to try the scrambled egg with salmon. The bonus was on the day of our departure the owners allowed us to leave our car in the hotel car park until late in the afternoon; saving on car parking charges.

Location excellent for town and beach, although we travelled as a couple this would be ideal for young families. We stayed in a double room with a spacious bathroom with a connecting bedroom and seperate bathroom facilties making this suitable for a family. Food was excellent with a choice of breakfasts making this B&B different from others, well done. The owners are very welcoming. Parking facilities good. I would choose this Bed and Breakfast again.

Very homely atmosphere as a positive, but felt room could do with some updating / decor change but this is my personnel taste and no bad reflection on the owners.
