A charming historic house set in quiet seclusion at the centre of Grassington. Rooms are comfortable, food good, and with a well kept private garden in which to stroll.

    nothing to dislike.

The whole place was very clean. The freshly baked cookies every morning was a lovely touch. Fresh towels everyday. Slippers and robes with a rose was also a nice touch. The breakfast was very good and the staff were very friendly.

The bathroom next door to our room was lovely but very, very warm. The hot water tank was in a cupboard in there and it made it very uncomfortable.

We were greeted with warmth and friendliness. It was our anniversary and great care and attention was taken to spoil us. The food was honest and of a high home cooked quality. All the staff without exception were pleasant and polite.

There was nothing whatsoever to dislike.

Being able to park in the middle of Grassington. Charming, peaceful house and gardens. The warm welcome from Joe and Elizabeth. Delicious and extensive breakfast (don't plan on eating lunch!) Courteous and efficient staff. A comfortable, well-equipped room. The honesty bar.

Pillows were at the end of their life - the rooms are due for refurbishment this autumn, I understand. Shower needs a degree in metaphysics to understand!

Location was excellent, lovely terrace off our room, great shower and bathroom facilities and great breakfast selection.

Some of the doorways are quite low due to it being an older building. May be difficult for persons over 6 ft.

Location in Grassington is convenient for visiting the Yorkshire Dales. Nice to be located in the village so that we could walk around village. Breakfast variety and food quality.

We felt that the facilities were "talked up" by the owners. Rather pretentious. Private parking facilities are far too cramped for the number of guest's and owners cars. Danger of having car damaged by others manoeuvring in car park. Access in and out of car park very tight.
