the food is of a really high standard we always enjoy staying here
nothing all good
The rooms are modern, clean, well decorated The facilities are good The breakfast and lunch was very good indeed To top it up the Spa which offers good deals. Massages and treatments and more. I would love to go there 5 times a year.
The staff was polite and helpful. The room was big. Bed was comfortable (although a bit bouncy). Breakfast was excellent. The hall of the hotel looks really nice and modern.
The rooms start to look a bit dated: in our bedroom on of the chairs had a big black mark on (burn mark?) and in the bathroom some paint came off. A part of the hotel looks rather ran down (leading to rooms 366 etc). We chose the wrong weekend to come over as a lot of people came for their Christmas party so you could hear drunk people getting back to their rooms.
Hotel was comfortable, staff extremely friendly and helpful. Good breakfast and lovely room
We were travelling with a 2 month old and the rooms were spacious for the travel cot. The food was good and not too expensive. The facilities of the spa and swimming pool looked good although we did not use them as it was just a quick stay.
In our room it felt like there was a draft coming from the window.
We use Ashford as a home-base as we explore Kent by rail and foot. The Ashford International is the nicest hotel for the purpose. At the end of a long day, I really need the pampering if hot tub, pool, sauna and steam room, and those facilities here are great.
I'm not fond of "upgrade" schemes and found our upgrade to be pretty unimpressive. A 'finer' grade of toiletries doesn't really set the traveler's world spinning, and there was virtually no other difference in our previous stay ordinary room and the one billed as deluxe.
The room, the staff and the finishing touches like iron, ironing board, trouser press and tea and coffee making.
The breakfast. Even though I requested turkey or chicken sausages they didn't have any. The orange juice was watered down so much that it didn’t taste or look like orange. Scrambled eggs were runny and tea pot was over full, causing it to spill as I poured.
The staff were so polite and helpful
Restaurant varies their menu so returning guests do not have the same meals good quality and value
The hotel is tatie very old fashion
Polite Staff. Good Service in the Bar and Restaurant for Breakfast during a busy period.
Small TV's in the Bar Area - For the Room Size - TV's should be a minimum of at least 50" Screens.
Everything was very good apart from the minor problem with no shelf for soap or shampoo
There is no soap holder or any shelf in the shower which makes it difficult to manage in the shower.
Very relaxing. Great décor. We all enjoyed the pool which was relatively empty. I have stayed in several Q hotels and I always love it.
Restaurant is excellent, the rooms are first class and the staff are a credit to the hotel
Great spa weekend
Lovely hotel and location was good. Room good value for the money and was quiet. Bed very comfortable
Almost everything and its close to the M20.
I travel 60% for business globally and decided on this hotel based on access to the Eurostar for early train to Brussels however I am very unimpressed. Shabby place but most concerning was the pure lack of customer service from the staff. Room service never came and no apology. Check in/out staff couldn't be bothered. Would not recommend this hotel.
Good price, modern and clean rooms, good location.
Great looking menu in hotel restaurant but the food tasted awful and was cold.
Love the hotel
When checked in was told that the room I booked wasn't available checked me in to a disability room at the same price and am a member of hotel wasn't expecting what I got and immediately checked out and had to argue with reception to recive my full payment back be aware
Great location the night before taking the Eurotunnel
Expensive for what you get.. Restaurant menu looks great but actual food is disappointing . Doors of rooms very noisy and banging all night
Personalized TV title in room Follow up check out letter delivered to our door Spa was lovely and well kept Breakfast options were very good, so much choice and really nice All staff we spoke to from check-in, spa, waiter/waitress and domestic staff were polite, professional and lovely. Room was clean, modern and had everything we needed.
location pool + gym
staff went missing when needed
Our first stay with a Q-leisure hotel was most enjoyable. My wife & I appreciated the comfort of the hotel. Together with good food, leisure facilities & helpful staff we were able to enjoy a leisurely break. Good access to other places within half hour drive. We look forward to staying here again some time.
Great place to have a weekend break
The corridor doors at night banging as people went past kept waking me up
