Within easy reach of Ashford International Railway Station and Eurostar train services to mainland Europe, this modern hotel offers comfortable, great-value rooms and free parking.
Score from 196 reviews Very good
I travel 60% for business globally and decided on this hotel based on access to the Eurostar for early train to Brussels however I am very unimpressed. Shabby place but most concerning was the pure lack of customer service from the staff. Room service never came and no apology. Check in/out staff couldn't be bothered. Would not recommend this hotel.
Good price, modern and clean rooms, good location.
Great looking menu in hotel restaurant but the food tasted awful and was cold.
Love the hotel
When checked in was told that the room I booked wasn't available checked me in to a disability room at the same price and am a member of hotel wasn't expecting what I got and immediately checked out and had to argue with reception to recive my full payment back be aware
Great location the night before taking the Eurotunnel
Expensive for what you get.. Restaurant menu looks great but actual food is disappointing . Doors of rooms very noisy and banging all night
Personalized TV title in room Follow up check out letter delivered to our door Spa was lovely and well kept Breakfast options were very good, so much choice and really nice All staff we spoke to from check-in, spa, waiter/waitress and domestic staff were polite, professional and lovely. Room was clean, modern and had everything we needed.
location pool + gym
staff went missing when needed
Our first stay with a Q-leisure hotel was most enjoyable. My wife & I appreciated the comfort of the hotel. Together with good food, leisure facilities & helpful staff we were able to enjoy a leisurely break. Good access to other places within half hour drive. We look forward to staying here again some time.
Great place to have a weekend break
The corridor doors at night banging as people went past kept waking me up
wifi free pool good gym okay but small
at times staff not around, for example at breakfast and in bar
Large comfy beds in good sized rooms. Very, very clean hotel
Room was good and spacious, internet worked well
Food on the restarant was not as shown on the menu
Did us a packed lunch instead of breafast as we left too early. Use of the pool
Dinner a bit pricey and not great
Great bed! Sizable room that included x2 comfy chairs plus desk chair Easy access to International railway Pretty villages nearby if you get off the motorway Easy drive to historic towns and cities (Canterbury, Leeds castle, Dover)
All entrance/exits have smokers facilities (ashtrays & ashbins) so non smokers may have to off-load luggage in a smoke haze.... perhaps ashtrays can be moved to happily cater to both..
Very comfortable room, helpful, friendly staff, efficient service and good location.
Nothing - all good.
Comfort of room Paper in morning Decor Location
Lazy staff not collecting room service trays left in corridors and smelling Cold breakfast Poor quality food
This place is like some giant fairground, I had to swipe my credit card to use the phone in our room, but nobody could call me at the hotel from outside??????. All they got when they tried was a lot of boring adverts for Functions, Spa facilities. etc. No reception Desk link to my room????? Q hotels should sort this out fast, it was a blood nightmare.
The location was great and easy to find. Guy who checked us in was really helpful. Unfortunately didn't have time to use the pool or spa facilities but all looked really clean and welcoming. Huge free car park which is a bonus.
Our room (257) was next to the corridor doors which were quite noisey with people coming and going. Also overlooked a garden and people on their mobiles there chatting away at midnight is a bit annoying! Nothing hotel can do about that other than ask guests to be aware of it ....
Nearly all of it
We have been there about 10 times and they always let them selfs down by severing a nearly cold breakfast.
Staff were great, rooms were lovely
The price of a tea and a coffee in the bar came to £6.10. Well over the odds!
Booked for a spa weekend, but spa was fully booked. Serious staff shortages, we were told this was due to the hotel being fully booked but really cant understand why this wasn't planned for. Hotel standards were poor, at breakfast the tables and chairs were filthy.
Not a lot. Nothing to make it stand out.
Just like a hundred other mid price hotels with a 4 star rating that should be 3 star IMHO.
Great location. Friendly, helpful staff. Clean and spacious rooms. Good breakfast.
Breakfast was a bit manic, because there were 2 coach parties of people. This made it very crowded, when using the self service breakfast buffet, and waiting for tea & coffee to be served.
