An unusual yet comfortable b&B. Very old, yet well maintained. Staff were on hand but not intrusive. Breakfasts were well made.

As I was attending a course at the Ashford Hospital, this could not have been better sited, being only a 5-10 min walk away along quiet road and foopath through a small copse straight onto the hospital grounds. The cottage hotel was pretty and the rooms compact but adequate for my needs. The room was clean and tidy with a very comfortable bed. The en- suite was adequate although would have been a little cramped if you were taller or larger framed than myself ( I class myself as a medium build person and of average height for a lady). The proprieters were very pleasant an helpful.. Breakfasts were on time and cooked to perfection and an appropriate size, with a good selection of options. I was most impressed with a bed that had a tv that came up out of the foot of the bed. There was plenty of drawer space and hanging space. The stairs were narrow and steep as you might expect in a oak beamed cottage and the door-ways low access, difficult if you were tall. Although they did not detract from the stay for myself as I like old quaint buildings and am still mobile, agile and fit.
