We went on a guided tour of city and it was really worthwhile and enlightening and gave us a feel of what the city has been through. Our accommodation was within walking distance a brilliant location . Exchange rate made things expensive. Definitely worth a visit and we will certainly return, easy to drive around.

We booked and paid for the hot tub and didn’t even use it as as soon as we checked in we leave and tried to find a better hotel
I also asked for champagne and sweets on arrival as you are not aloud to bring your own drink and we didn’t revive any thing

Went mid-week over Valentines for 2 nights.
Went mid-week over Valentines for 2 nights. The towpath walk from the hotel (Waterfoot Hotel) to the Peace Bridge and town at around 45 mins was lovely (it was a dry morning) as was the bridge itself.
Loved Sandino's quirky cuban themed bar and also the Taphouse bar near the Guildhall (Music/Singer in the Taphouse from 9pm was great on a Thursday night).
Sooty Olive restaurant (Waterside) then Silver Street bar/restaurant (main town) are both good food places to have dinner & drinks - Silver Street being more economical. City Walls a great experience also.

It is an interesting town between the walls. You must walk the walls, much info is to be found about Derry here.
The Guildhall has exquisite Stained glass windows and an enormous organ. Quite amazing really.
Londonderry/Derry's history is confronting and not so long ago there was much strife here and it is still in evidence.
Generally the food is excellent, loved it.

A beautifully decorated place very elegant..Very comfortable and we felt right at home..The staff could not do enough for us and made our stay very special.. The food was delicious and they catered for my grandson who is wheat intolerant..We needed a taxi into the city and the hotel was very kind and sorted that out for us..My grandson was really happy and wants to definitely be back me also..I would recommend this hotel to anyone..Thank you the Belfry for our lovely stay 😁
The hotel is beautiful, nicely decorated, very clean and comfortable. We met our host Connor, he vas very polite and kind. He showed us our room and told us a short story about the hotel and the city. It was very nice to meet him.
Hotel is very close to city centre which is amazing. There is a kitchen for use, with all electrical facilties, cereals, milk, coffee. Overall.. Beautiful place, definitely will come back.
Lovely hotel and extremely friendly and professional members of hotel team. The lady in reception (Kiera) was very helpful when we arrived and helped us settle in. Hotel room was very good and very comfortable, location is a short drive from city centre and plenty of parking spaces. Highly recommend this hotel.
Our rooms were quite large and had excellent black-out curtains. We ate both dinner and breakfast at the hotel, and we enjoyed both. This was the best hotel breakfast of our 10-day tour in Ireland. The parking garage underneath the hotel was very convenient.
Beautiful boutique hotel in the heart of Londonderry. The staff are a credit to the hotel - can’t do enough to help and always with a smile. Great location with plenty to do and see close by. Food and cocktails are excellent, hard to find fault.
This hotel is in a perfect location in Londonderry. Everything is within walking distance and there are brilliant tours available right in the heart of the city centre. The staff are extremely helpful and the food was excellent during our stay.
Very nice place to stay. Conveniently close to Londonderry.
Unfortunate timing for us that the field next to the property was just freshly laid with manure. Couldn't open windows to let in air. Staff was really quick to bring us fans though.
The price point of the hotel, the bar and seating areas, the hotel restaurant for breakfast and the central location in Northern Irelands maiden city are all first class factors when considering the City Hotel
The Maldron hotel Derry/Londonderry was lovely, front desk staff was very nice, food good the only thing is it’s very noisy with the hustle and bustle on the streets, I wouldn’t recommend for a family.
Staff were very friendly & accommodating, great location for our needs.
The bed in our room was very comfortable, one of the best nights sleep we’ve had at a hotel.
Staff were very attentive and polite. Hotel was clean. Good parking facilities. Carvery excellent. Not too far from city centre. Great check out time of 11.
The hotel is in prime city centre location, within walking distance to all attractions and shopping. The breakfast had a full selection and was delicious.
