Anne was amazing. monumental breakfasts and did every little task to make us happy no matter how trivial. Very helpful and would love to stay there again
There is a slight smell of wet pets as you enter the hotel that is only apprent in the hall entrance that may put newcomers off - other than this nothing to report
Lovely welcoming owner who did her best to please, Both she and her daughter were very hospitable and they provided a lovely well presented breakfast on leaving.
Would appear that non smoking policy needs strict enforcement.
Friendly, welcoming and well situated.
Very welcoming! Room was ideal and comfy. Anne was very helpful and does a fantastic breakfast and sandwiches and chocolates in our room.
I had booked this holtel well in advance but when arrived was told me my booking had been cancelled !! So couldn't stay ... Absolutely foaming to say the least ... Not sure who's fault it was but it wasn't mine. so my 9 year and I had to walk round Blackpool to find another b&b which cost twice as much ... Thanks booking.com/ashlea hotel
Very warm welcome, rooms small but everything you need. Breakfast the best I have ever had. Do not expect the Hilton, it is not but for the money it's brill. Will go again. O and by the way it is not en-suit.
Great price, friendly and easy going. Has a pool table, bar, and hot meals are available. Could not ask for more.
Parking limited and it's very dated inside.
it all wee ann is the bizz and the kittens going back soon tom glasgow
Loved the personal touches welcoming me on check-in. Breakfasts were huge. Fantastic value. Very friendly place and very comfortable.
Windows could not be closed. This was not a problem during my stay as there was a heatwave in Blackpool. Might be a concern in late season.
I loved the welcome sandwich and sweets on arrival. Every thing just got better as time went on. Breakfast was awesome as was Anne the land lady who did everything I wanted but at no extra cost!!
The service was great
The facilities were bad and very outdated
the host was amazing and could not do enough for us .breakfast was excellant and was allowed to come for breakfast when we wanted . the place is dated but clean but you will not get a better price in blackpool or host
Landlady very friendly and kept us up to date. Superb home cooked breakfast. Nice touches with chocolates in room on arrival, and sandwiches in room when we returned after night out. No timescales for breakfast or check-out, landlady happy to accommodate breakfast whenever we get up.
Anne and Amy where very welcoming, Very good value for money
4 of us went for a birthday weekend , Anne was a amazing host who could not do enough for us and went out of her way to make us feel at home , even giving a gift for the birthday girl. Superb service , I would definatly recommend this hotel if you are looking for somewhere to stay .
Lovely lady , brill breakfast . Really Needs updating.
Ann the host goes extra mile The breakfast (massive) goes extra mile , chocolates and biscuits in room. Sandwiches and drinks on arrival. very accomadating in upgrading room. well worth a visit as anne makes you part of family and is brilliant xx
It was dirty needed a good clean and redecorating it smelt and the hygiene was awful I couldn't stomach eating there or even drinking out of there cups or glasses the rooms are really small
excellent welcome, the owner is really helpful in every situation, good position, very abundant breakfast.
The landlady is the best in that I have ever met on my travels. the breakfast are amazing to go along with the welcome and friendliness of the place. This is great value for money.
The outside is not very welcoming but please do not judge this book by its cover
The Lady who owns this has to be the friendliest , most helpful , landlady in Blackpool. We could not have asked for anything more in our stay. Be warned that she keeps you well fed with her fantastic breakfasts. Will be recommending her to all my friends and family.
Was looked after from start to finish I will definitely come to stay again
Great economy hotel: fantastic breakfast, excellent staff, splendid hospitality. Budget accommodation doesn't get much better than this! Recommended.
The Ashlea at Blackpool is one of the best budget establishments I've come across. The hospitality is second-to-none. Landlady Anne and daughter Amie simply cannot do enough for you: tea/coffee, sandwiches on arrival, and cookies & chocolates in the room were all included in the price; the full English was excellent; for a modest charge an extra breakfast was prepared for my non-resident friend who arrived on a 7:30am flight; and a superb three-course evening meal was made for myself. In conclusion, budget hospitality doesn't get any better than this!
The landlady anne is great with the guests and the breakfast was excellent. Little touches as well like sandwiches on arrival and chocs and biscuits in the room.
Decor a bit tired but clean and comfortable and would stay again
