Cosy, comfortable and warm as toast on chilly Autumn evenings. Brilliant location for walking and visiting the Peak District. Our 3rd visit here, and the 1st time we have used the balcony because the weather was brilliant. Nice to chill out there in the late afternoon with a coffee taking in the wonderful scenery. Sparkling clean as usual. Favourite things are the luxury leather reclining (electric powered) sofa's.
Very minor niggle's; no scissors or grater in the kitchen. Parking out in the lane a tad tight for bigger cars. The wooden boarding under the shower is quite uncomfortable to stand on.
Great location, beautiful views in a clean and comfortable annex.
Would have been good to have a welcome hamper or basics in the cupboards. But the shop is easy to get to in the village.
We had a lovely relaxing break. Ashlea was warm and comfortable and had everything we needed for a short break. There were some good walks in the surrounding area.
It said on Booking.Com that there was a welcome pack for making tea and coffee there was tea and coffee in the cupboard but no sugar or milk so don't forget to take some.
we always like the realxed atmosphere of the place and the surranding countryside
What you see is what you get, clean and comfortable. Good location.
We would have liked washing and ironing facilities otherwise excellent
Great location, great views, great facilities. Would stay again.
No spare loo roll!
Very nicely appointed with good quality furnishings. Very comfortable, clean and welcoming.
Whilst having wonderful views, the property overlooks the main London to Manchester railway. Not much of a problem in the winter with the windows shut, but could be a nuisance in the summer. Parking is outside the property on a narrow road.
Great location, lovely and friendly. Facilities, bath was lovely.
No curtains on the main back windows and there could have been dimmer lights all round the house. The lights were quite harsh and not particularly romantic :)
Great views Modern style Very clean Underfloor heating Good location
The flat was amazing with a great balcony and view, the facilities are good and modern.
The beds were very uncomfortable.
Being self contained.
Nearby mast not helpful to anyone electro-sensitive.
Newly renovated apartment with lovely countryside views in a quiet area.
No shower screen. Bathroom floor uneven leaving constant pools of water (poor construction). No hair dryer, no dishwasher or washing machine or airer stand to hand wet clothes. Bed under sloping room resulted in hitting head if not careful when getting up at night.
Lots of space Nice view Cooking facilities Modern & clean
Limited parking No credit card
Very clean and well prepared.
Twin beds, no queen bed option.
