Staff were nice and friendly. Not value for money and not standard for a 3 star hotel. Water kettle was full of lime scale, back of the walldrope had come off and hanging. 2 single beds put together which did push apart at some point and had to be pushed together again. Sound of tele was on and off and did not enjoy watching tv programes. Last but not the least old dull wall paper.

Able to come and go freely as given keys. Very impersonal as owners live off site, but there is a bell to ring if you need help. So no real contact with the people you have booked with, except an exceptionally brief introduction to room on arrival. Thoughless guests who parked outside the hotel in such a way that we found it very difficult to park. It wasn't easy to manoever into the restricted space which was left behind the boundary wall. Had to park blocking in other guest's cars. Central heating on full, radiator very hot and no means of regulating it.

It's such a nice place to stay! It's convenient to arrive both by buses and by island line trains. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Besides, I like the tasty breakfast. My room is close to the kitchen, a little noisy in the morning

Good hearty breakfast, plentiful & very nicely cooked. The hotel requires'TLC'. Whilst our room was clean, the decor' & furnishings required attention. The decorations required renewing as faded & peeling in areas & the bedroom furniture also requires renewing. (Mfi?) The hallway, landings & dining room all required attention - updating as all displayed old dark decor'. The stairs carpet was worn. Some stair treds require immediate attention as some areas displayed threads -fraying.

Good breakfast فطوره جيد وهذا كل شيء very expensive no care about guests or their needs the Owner lives outside the hotel and difficult to find him No contact numbers Looks silly as a 4 stars hotel فندق لا يليق بفنادق الاربع نجوم عبارة عن منزل قيست هاوس وبه عدة غرف لا يوجد به اي نوع من الترفيه او الانشطة او حتى الجو العام .. ادارة الفندق لا ترى الا في فطور الصباح .. اعجب ان يكون اربع نجوم

it was very clean, and staff were friendly. breakfast was excellent, they tried to cater for every ones needs. the hotel is so out dated, shoudln't think it has been decorated since the war, all the different patterns in the dining room made you feel a bit sick. Quite a long hilly walk into Sandown. Very quiet location, with next to no night life. probably better for older couples looking for a quiet break not for younger people.

a good breakfast everyday. Not too many silly rules as you can come and go as you please. Any problems resolved straight away. Only thing was our room location which backed onto the kitchen and was very very noisy in the morning.

The food was nice Had to park too far away, had to go into another empty room to change pillows as ours were filthy, could not get hold of any staff after 7.30pm, there was no sink behind the bar to wash hands, and there was no staff to serve your drinks, you had to serve yourself with what little selection there was as two out of six optics was empty and the beer selection was cans of carlesberg or cans of strongbow, although we did get an apology regarding the pillows.we would not go back to this hotel again and would not recommend this hotel to friends.

The freedom to go and come as you like, the warm welcome from Tessa The shower temperature in the bath was difficult to adjust and the volume of water poor, would benefit from a shower curtain, to prevent water splashing on the floor. Over all the stay was pleasant.Breakfast good, but would be nice to have a choice of jam or marmalade for those who do not like marmalade.
